This is a classic. What is even better than the movie is the soundtrack. I would recommend this for an 80's Movie Night party. The steelbook casing has a good looking metallic finish.

a little edge of you seat movie with a great cast and familiar faces

Can't complain, the Blu-ray is much much better. Especially with these newer TV's and higher refresh rates, was surprised not seeing as much cgi as I thought I would see. Very impressed.

Watching this movie in 4K with Dolby Atmos sound is something else.

I have the VHS that I got back when it first came out but this is perfect for anyone who loves this move. Great way they remastered it and improved the movie.

Although some liberties were taken with making this movie it is still a great insight into Naval Aviation. I always loved this movie and it's great aerials shots.

I used to watch this movie so much as a kid, and I still love it just as much now. Such a great, classic movie! Plus it's cool to see Tom Cruise so young!

The adrenaline is still there in this action packed classic movie. The jet fuel is still there! Loved watching it in Blu-Ray. And cranking up the sound!

With ATMOS this Film Is Better Than Ever! The musical score and superb aerial cinematography sets the tenner and tone of this fast paced modern Naval Aviation story. It’s not a walk in the park and for that matter it’s not easy, especially if you lose your wingman or co-pilot, but it always hard to “let go” and move on if it happens to you! Story is an Aviators dream come true – see it again! This movie does not get old – it just gets better each time its seen.! Firstly, the 2020 Remastering and addition of Dolby ATMOS placed the audience in the “center” of this films’ action – an absolute over-the-top viewing experience. Must say it again in a slightly different way. It’s freedom, it doesn’t get better than this. If you love flying you will appreciate the story-line. If you don’t, then see it and you’ll become envious of those that do – there is no better way. And, it is always stimulating and thought-provoking to revisit its’ high tempo, fast paced triumphant sound-track – its’ cool! Be careful, it is very easy for the audience to become smitten with this film.
