ALWAYS THE CLASSIC MOVIE BACK IN Y TIME..............

I buy the Best Buy Steelbooks more to collect than to watch. I was happy to see Top Gun available. I like the alternative covers on some of the Steelbooks.

Great movie, that bring to my mind the days I use to see the Tomcat in action. A husky yet nimble bird that the movie does not shy of showing it.

Good movie. 4k helps make movies I’ve never watched more palatable to my low expectations. But, good movie.

Top Gun is an Amazing movie. Everyone should own it. Now in this Steelbook package, it's even better. A must have for any action movie buff.

Had this movie on DVD and saw this on sale on blu ray along with the steel case made it a steal, no pun intended. Always enjoyed this movie.

Can't beat how cheap this steelbook is of a classic movie. I replaced my DVD copy with blu-ray in a steelbook. Great movie, great picture quality.

It doesn't look as good as some other older movies do on blu ray but it sounds great and the making of documentary is really long.

Came without slipcover but in good condition. Really good 4k version of the movie.

Honestly, it shouldn't look this good! It shouldn't sound this good! It shouldn't feel like a completely different film and yet it does... For good reason, I am new to the 4K experience with a system and a setup that can capitalize on Dolby vision and HDR as well as Dolby audio and DTS audio tracks... That being said, top gun absolutely nails it for the 4K remaster of such a classic and iconic film. It truly felt like watching a new film for the first time because the sound is hind of everything rain through so much more clearly than I can ever recall it doing through physical media or digital. Values are warm, contrast is balanced very well... Nothing too sharp and nothing too dull, you can see the sweat coming off of people and it doesn't feel like the contrast within that sweat was amped up in order to actually see it? Everything just rings beautifully, low light or highlight it's all made clear to the viewer.

Great movie and now that it’s on BluRay it’s even better. Fills the screen and even sounds clearer. Upgrade to enjoy it!

Top Gun is easily one of my all time favorite movies. The film tells the story of hot shot pilot Maverick played by Tom Cruise (Mission Impossible Franchise, Edge of Tomorrow), who is sent to the Top Gun Naval Fighter Weapons School, Maverick befriends Goose played by Anthony Edwards (ER, Zodiac), when his cocky personality put him at odds with the other pilots including Iceman played by Val Kilmer (Batman Forever, The Saint). It then turns out Maverick isn't only competing to be top fighter, he is also fighting for the attention of the gorgeous flight instructor, Charlie Blackwood played by Kelly McGillis (Witness, Cat Chaser). All the actors do great in their roles especially Tom Cruise who really made Maverick his own. The film also features Tim Robbins (The Shawsank Redemption, Green Lantern) and Michael Ironside (Starship Troopers, Total Recall). I love everything about Top Gun, I love the soundtrack, the characters, the story, the quotes and the movie itself. I can't wait for the sequel that's coming next year.

The love story. The fighter planes. The drama. The soundtrack. The directing. Everything of this movie is a classic.

One of my favorite movies of all time. Tom Cruise, Anthony Edwards, and Val Kilmer did awesome! Love Goose and Maverick!

The sound and picture from the disc are great on my LG OLED tv. The CD case and included materials are nice as well.
