Its a good movie. Im not a fan. But my husband likes the movie.

Tom Cruise & Val Kilmer at there best. A classic that will always be great, never gets old.

Flying jets would be great. The cast was good and the plot kept you entertained.

I love this movie - so many one-liners that are life lessons; e.g.: "Never leave your wingman". BTW, I'll be lined up to buy the 8K version someday, since I have nearly every format this movie was released on going back to VHS and Beta. REVIEW: The 4K is not that noticeable (I have a 150" curved screen -- I'd see it!). As for the Atmos mix - it made the purchase well worth it! As the son of a USAF pilot, I grew up hearing jets fly over the base. The Atmos flyovers really made me feel like I was there (at Mirmar) on the base with them. Exactly what immersive sound is meant to do - put you in the scene!

I always heard great things about this movie. Tom Cruise never disappoints.

Movie: in the crowded category of guilty pleasures this one slides right in there like Maverick gaining position on Jester’s tail. Many scenes haven’t aged particularly well and some overdone “oh so eighties” moments will stick with you unpleasantly. But there’s just enough air action and ice cool Iceman Val Kilmer in easily his most iconic role to make up for the cloying and flat out unbelievable romance between Cruse boy and apparently cradle-robbing McGillis woman. Anthony Edwards is great and Meg Ryan a delightful bonus. But top billing should have gone to the F-14 Tomcat with Iceman as main costar. 4K Rendition: very solid, looks and sounds great!
