This movie is a really good movie looks really good in 4k

This is an absolutely great movie. Watching this in 4k Blu-ray is a way better far more beautiful experience than digital. Digital is the worst regression in consuming of physical media in history and is the death of ownership. I invite you to read my John Wick 4 and Avatar way of water five star review for full explanation and understanding. But whether it comes to games whether it comes to movies stop buying digital. That extra bit of laziness you're trying to achieve now you will regret and it will cost you later. Digital is not for you digital is companies taking ownership out of consumers' hands. And consumers are just letting it happen

What can I say? I love this movie. Originally, I bought it through a streaming service (which is great), but I wanted a hard-copy disc of the movie in order to have the best overall picture and sound since discs outperform streaming. As good as the movie is through the streaming service, the sharpness of the picture and more powerful sound were quickly noticed and increased the viewing experience. I don’t buy many movies on a disc anymore but this one at Best Buy’s sale price was a no-brainer.

If you have seen the first Top Gun movie, you will Love this one. I actually like it better than the first one, but the first movie will always be special to me. Top Gun: Maverick definitely does not let us forget about Goose as there are flashbacks of Maverick's time with Goose and the memories he carries with him. And Maverick gets to know Goose's Son since Bradley (aka Rooster) is part of the class Maverick is teaching. Lots of action and some suspense. An awesome movie. Go see it, you will be glad you did.

The Dolby Atmos Sound Track is a must for this Movie and indeed it is provided !

I honestly agree with others that this movie may actually be better than the original iconic performance. Serials are never as good as the original movie, in my opinion, as they always inflate the excitement and plot of the original movie, making the sequel less believable. This sequel is the first movie I've seen that does not do that, but actually continues the story of the original movie incredibly well. I very highly recommend you see this if you saw the original. Intense, great photography, great acting.

Jets, explosions, high-speed fun! Tom Cruise delivers in this sequel I did not even know we needed. The action is evenly distributed with many scenes paying homage to the original movie. The jet scenes were fantastic and proved that Tom Cruise is one of the best action movie stars of his time. If you have a good AV system, the Dolby Atmos effects in this movie are Superb. I rarely buy DVD’s anymore, but this one was a definite buy for keeps!

I was not expecting the same thrill of flying we got from Top Gun over 35 years ago, but some how they made it happen. The chemistry of the cast worked well. Miles Teller plays Gooses son, who thinks he needs to prove himself. Jennifer Connelly plays the owner of the bar were all the flyboys hang out. Val Kilmer plays the admiral of the base. The flying action keeps you on the edge of your seat.

This movie is great! Tom Cruise as maverick returns in this movie years later,and really shows how great a top gun pilot he is. The movieall the cameras installed in the jets show how great it is frying on a jet is. The story continues where it left over over the years with tom cruise continues his journey as a instructor and then findd himself on s impossible mission for the country.

Reference quality soundtrack with great special effects of jets flying low and fast through the mountains. Picture quality was good. Some of the scenes in the movie will benefit from robust subwoofers, where the jet take-offs will rumble. There were a couple of scenes where I had to lower the volume since my circuit breaker tripped when my amps and subs drew more than 15 amps.

Love this movie as good as the original Tom Cruise did it again

The BIGGER than life feel is the reason movies are made. This Movie embraces that abs more. Buy this movie and have the surround sound turned up and warn the neighbors that it’s going to be loud… no invite the neighbors over (if they are Janice) and have an amazing time enjoying this movie. Movies made the way they should be made.

As an aviation and military genre movie enthusiasts this could be the best movie ever made! The aviation scenes especially those involving high G's are much better than the first movie as the actors are experiencing real G's. There is no faking the real effects of extreme flight maneuvers. The story is woven into the first Top Gun movie and the character development is much better. The Video and Audio quality are excellent!

Great movie & if you like the original this is a great sequel. Definitely recommend

I was a big fan of the original and couldn't wait for the return of Top Gun. Tom Cruise again knocks it out of the park with his performance as Maverick. I had to add this to not only my digital collection but my physical as well,

Buying a Blu-ray UHD (Ultra High Resolution) might seem like a throwback, but with my UHD wall-sized screen and Oppo player, the resolution of a streaming service (often degraded by poor speeds even though gig is promised) just does not compare. All the extras features, shorts, music video (lady gaga) etc are nice extras. Also, you only buy it once and watch it many times.

Ill start out by saying I am not a huge Tom Cruise fan, but the original top gun was a cult classic movie so i had to see this...and i have found myself watching it several times as the picture quality and audio tracks are beautifully mastered and the story line is great!

A great movie but mine did not come with a digital code and this is the second time this has happened to me. I feel that those who package the movies are taking the codes for themselves. Never thought that there needed to be a sequel to Top Gun but so glad there was.
