I actually like it better than the first one, but the first movie will always be special to me. Top Gun: Maverick definitely does not let us forget about Goose as there are flashbacks of Maverick's time with Goose and the memories he carries with him. And Maverick gets to know Goose's Son since Bradley (aka Rooster) is part of the class Maverick is teaching. Lots of action and some suspense. An awesome movie. Go see it, you will be glad you did.

Serials are never as good as the original movie, in my opinion, as they always inflate the excitement and plot of the original movie, making the sequel less believable. This sequel is the first movie I've seen that does not do that, but actually continues the story of the original movie incredibly well. I very highly recommend you see this if you saw the original. Intense, great photography, great acting.
