Bought it because it was well priced and wanted a wire-free charging option while traveling or for the occasional days in the office where I don't keep extra cables. However, it's disappointing that it doesn't hold the charge. You have to charge it the day you plan on using it. It's finicky depending on the phone case.

Cons-does not charge phone while charger is charging which was a huge selling point. Indoors no issues with heat but if I charge outdoors, phone battery gets extremely hot. Pros magnet seems sturdy and charger is slim. Past my return window or would have definitely returned item. Not worth it.

This item does its jobs but it is very weak in terms of battery life and functionality. Basically if you want it to charge your phone, you can’t actually be using your phone at all because it’ll overheat and stop charging

Portable chargers are a dime a dozen where each seems to focus on a specific facet. Thus, from a portability standpoint, this charger by TORRAS seems to check all of the boxes.
First, right out of the box you can tell this is a premium product simply from the feel. It is not just a cheap plastic case surrounding a battery. Also, the included USB-C cable is a nice added benefit as many portable chargers do not include a cable. This charger does focus on portability and the compact size of the charger really surprised me as it was extremely small compared to traditional portable chargers. This does sacrifice on power capacity, but for those only needing an extra charge for an iPhone or portable device this works out perfectly!
Aside from the small form size, the features and performance are where this charger continues to stand out. First I have to mention how great the actual magnetic aspect is with this charger as it quickly attaches to my iPhone where there is no trying to mess with it to get it to attach. The magnetics are also much stronger than others I have tested and I think due to the small form factor that helps in keeping the charger attached to the phone. The charging speed is your basic 7.5W for wireless, but the added benefit of 18W fast charging when using the provided USB-C cable is great and again the included cable is perfect here as you`re not trying to use a 3 feet long cable since the shorter size works much better here. The temperature sensing is a nice bonus as it helped in reducing overheating on my phone as I will admit I`m one to keep using my phone while charging when it does get warm.
Overall, from the size of the device to the various features and overall ease of use this charger again checks all the boxes for me. The magnetic charging was created here with usability in mind and it definitely shows. Then the performance element of wired fast charging and temperature regulation were well thought out for those power users. Thus, I would not hesitate to recommend this charger for those looking for something in the portable usability space.

This power bank worked ok, but got hot very quickly and my phone stopped charging dur to it being too hot. Also, the case on the battery isnt very strong. I dropped it once when missing my pocket and the case broke. It is now useless. So be careful that you dont drop it!

As cell phones continue to get slimmer and more powerful, power banks become increasingly vital accessories. TORRAS was very much an unknown quantity for me going into this and as such I had some skepticism. After spending a few days with the MiniMag though I'm feeling pretty confident that it's well built enough for me to trust with my phone.
First up, let's discuss the pros. As the name suggests this thing is very small for how much power it has, meaning it's one of the rare designs where you can slap it onto the back of your phone without making the whole thing too thick to carry around in your pocket. Under normal circumstances I'd be a little worried this might make it too easy to bend or dent the case, which can lead to a battery fire in extreme circumstances, but there's a pretty sturdy metal frame in there which I feel confident should keep it in the right shape for most circumstances. It also holds quite firmly to the back of my case when sitting in my pocket, though I still would probably recommend avoiding depending on it if you plan to be waving the phone around as a few firm shakes are still enough to dislodge it.
There are a few downsides that might be dealbreakers I feel I should point out though. First off, the metal frame is also a halfway decent radiator. The bank gets noticeably warm after just a few minutes of charging, and can eventually get uncomfortable to hold particularly if you're using the wireless charging, which tends to kick out a lot more waste heat in general. Second, I did find that trying to charge through my phone case could be a little hit-or-miss. This didn't surprise me - it is quite thick and truthfully a lot of wireless chargers just won't work at all with the thing - but it's still far from the best wireless charging experience I've had. So if you are also a lover of chunky cases and hope that this will be the slim wireless power bank for you, you may end up disappointed. Finally it's worth noting that when they call this "slim" they really do mean it. There was no way they were fitting a USB-A plug in here, so your wired options are limited to a single USB-C port. So if you plan to use this for more than a phone, adapters will likely be required.
