    Tiny, powerful power bank

I have gone through several power banks as I'm constantly on the go and I'm using my phone along way. I'm either taking pictures, or I'm on the web looking up items. The Torras Slim MiniMag Wireless Power Bank 5000mAh is the smallest power bank I have ever seen or used up to this point. Guess what? This little bad boy really does the job. Inside the box are the power bank, a USB-C cord for charging and the instruction book. The power bank took roughly about 90 minutes to fully charge up. Once the power bank is fully charged it's ready to go. With an iPhone, the power bank connects magnetically and charges directly to the phone. If roughly added about 20 percent in about 25 minutes on my first use. 5000mAh in this little bank is very impressive. The power bank is slightly larger length-wise than a credit card. It is small enough to fit inside your pocket and still has plenty of space leftover. It is perfect for using at home, in your car or even while travelling. At this point, I am not finding any issues with this power bank. The Torras Slim MiniMag Wireless Power Bank 5000mAh is highly recommended.

I always carry a portable charger with me when I travel and many times I forget or have the wrong device charger on me. This handy device solves that issue by allowing your wireless capable devices to charge the same as on a regular wireless charger. It has magnetic charge ring that allows the device to be used while snugly attached to your device. It is very light weight and thin and your phone can be used effortlessly when it is attached. It does not get very hot and is barely noticeable when attached. It charges fast and I can charge my phone several times on a full charge. There are indicator lights that show you how much charge is left. The charge input is USB-C so it can be used with most charge cables you already own, but there is one included as also. Like almost all devices now, there is no AC adapter included, so you will have to purchase separately if needed. The device is so compact and easy to use, I plan to buy several more to keep in our cars and around the house for emergencies or when a quick charge is needed.

Good power bank but does not charge that fast

The TORRAS - Slim MiniMag Wireless Power Bank comes with a 5000mAh battery in a Titanium Gray finish. The Power Bank supports Apple’s MagSafe technology. The magnets are strong and do a good job of keeping the power bank attached to my iPhone when attached. The power bank comes with a power button that you can use to turn off the power bank when not in use while it’s still attached to your phone. You don’t necessarily have to press the power button to turn the unit on if it’s not already attached to your iPhone. By simply attaching it to the back of your phone, the unit will come on and the MagSafe animation will appear on your phone’s screen. However, if the unit it already attached to your phone and you turned it off previously, then you will need to press the power button to turn it back on. The power bank has a slim profile. It’s much heavier than what I assumed it would be. The power bank does not charge my iPhone as fast as I thought it would. It’s somewhat slow. It’s more of a trickle charger that will help keep your battery from depleting while also trying to charge it. It took nearly an hour for my phone to go from 90% to 100%. I was curious if plugging into the USB-C port on the power bank, and then plug into the device would yield faster results. Unfortunately, it did not. To see how much battery life is left on the power bank, it uses 3 LED lights. It’s not able to display the percentage in a widget style like the official Apple charger. Overall, it’s a decent power bank but I wish it would charge a bit faster.

    Wireless Charging Doesn't Work

To begin I fully charged the bank before attempting to use it to charge anything. The bank is very light and is very portable which us a huge pro in my book. I do like the sleek and polished look of this bank. Also the lighted dots do a great job of letting me know how much juice is left in the bank. I had to take the case off of my phone to get the bank to magnetically stick to my phone and wirelessly charge. This is where things go wrong. While the phone was charging I put it down and left for about 30 minutes. When I came back, my phone was very hot and it did not charge that much. So the wireless charging is useless. Wired charging works fine and the bank did it's job. I am only giving this bank three stars because the wireless did not work for me. That is too bad because this bank is small and light enough to wirelessly charge your phone while it's in your pocket. I would not attempt to charge the phone using the usb cord while it's in my pocket. I am going to keep this bank in my car with the wire in case of an emergency. For the record the phone I was using for this test was a Pixel 6.

    Good portable charger

This is a great little portable charger. Not much to say. It gets the job done and packs a punch in a little space saving package. And the best part is its wireless so no more clunky charging cables to attach to the charger. This comes in a little 4x6 box that is very thin. Which is fitting because all that is inside is the charger, which itself is about the size of a credit card but thicker, and the usb c to usb c charging cable. Some multi language instructions as well. But thats it! No fancy bells or whistles and honestly those aren’t needed here. It gives you what you need in a slim package. The reason to me this stands over other portable chargers is the fact it’s wireless. You still have to plug it in to a power source using the usb c cable in order to charge the device, but to use it you don’t need a wire. Simply attach it to the back of your phone or phone case and it’s magnetic! Now this is where I would deduct a little bit. I have a normal phone case on my phone, that is pretty slim profile, and while yes I was able to stick this charger on my phone case and yes it does charge through it, the charger did slide around a little bit on the back of the case, so uou really need to leave the phone still while it’s charging or at least be very careful or I would suspect enough movement and the case would pop right off. So the magnetic feature could be a little stronger. Now this also takes quite a while to charge. It arrived in the mail with only one bar. I plugged it in and it took about 5 hours using the wall charger to get this near full charge. So make sure this is charged before you store it to use. The plus side here, is that the charging of your phone is relatively quick. I had 11% and after attaching this got up to 30% in about 10 minutes if not less. So this is a good product. Gets the job done and doesn’t hold a huge footprint. Recommended.

I really like this TORRAS wireless power bank. It's slim ,light and will fit in a back pocket or handbag easily. It can be used with or without a USB-C cord, so no worry if you forget the cord or just don't want to bring it along. Charging the power bank is easy, preferably overnight or during work so it's complete when you're ready to leave. The indicator lights let you know the level of charging completed. My android phone has a 4500 mAh battery. My battery level at 15% using the power bank wirelessly took 3 hrs. 43 min. to completely charge. Charging from 15% with the included USB-C cable the power bank took 1 hr. 26 min. to fully charge. Much faster with the cable, more convenient without it. It feels like it has a bit of magnetic hold when I set my phone to it, but it certainly does not have enough to stay attached so best to have a place to set it down stationary while charging. Won't charge through my case, had to remove it. It can be used with other devices with wireless charge capability. I have only tried it with my phone so far and I'm very pleased with it.
