Price per gig is outstanding. I purchased one of these over a year ago for one of my laptops and liked it so much I purchased another to upgrade the family PS3.

I recently purchased the Toshiba 1TB Hard Drive for Laptops, and I must say, that so far it lives up to my expectations for speed, and storage size. I am currently using it as a backup HDD, for my Laptop, in case my primary has any issues. So far, 132Gb out of 1TB used..

I saw an ad for a high-priced (Rocket Fish?) Sony approved internal hard drive that was twice the price of this one. Looked up the specs of that one and this Toshiba one was the exact same at a much cheaper price. Ordered it through Best Buy's price match (was slightly cheaper on Amazon) and picked it up locally. Installing it in the PS3 was a breeze. Installed the PS3 system software, it took four hours only because I was transferring ALL the contents of my old hard drive (80 GB version of PS3) to this one using the PS3 backup utility. This is a 5400 RPM hard drive so read/write speeds are lower than 7200 RPM ones but once the system was transferred over, it works and now I have 10 times the hard disk space for my games! Good buy for the end-use I had in mind.

This was a really simple and good fix for my MacBook 2012. The original hard drive became corrupted. This was a quick and easy fix for a good price.

I needed to upgrade my consoles hard drive and this was the best choice for price and storage capacity.

Worked 1st try and is still working like it is should. FYI. Drive is formatted with 4K sectors, if you reformat it with XP you will end up with 250 GB.

HDD was used to replace the failed drive in an out-of-warranty Dell laptop, which had gone through 3 Seagate drives in just over a year. Drive was easy to install and set up with system restore disks, and has given a boost in performance over the stock drive. It's not as fast as an SSD, but if you need the storage space, this is an excellent value from a dependable manufacturer.

I bought this for my daughter's laptop, It was easy to install and working well, as I haven't heard any complaints from her since installing it.

My son bought this drive to replace the 500 gig hard drive in his Playstation. It fit perfectly. Drive gets used daily without any hitches. Transfer speeds seem to be at least as fast as the OEM drive it replaced. If your looking to upgrade your PS I would recommend this drive from a trusted company.
