Actually had a 250GB hard drive crash on my Mac Mini. I was going to buy an new drive for it but decided I could take care of two hard drives with one purchase. This Toshiba 1TB hard drive was a great price, so I decided to pick it up, install it in my PS4, and install my PS4 500GB hard drive into my Mac Mini. The Toshiba works great. It is not any faster than the drive I had but I would need to spend more if I wanted a faster drive. I just needed the extra space. It is worth the price and works as designed.

I purchased this to replace an OEM drive ion a Toshiba laptop purchased from Best Buy a few years ago. It was the most cost effective drive offered, plus it is the same manufacturer as what failed in my laptop (after 6 years), I bought another Toshiba to ensure compatibility. All works well and hopefully it will last as long as the original! This had the best warranty of any similarly sized and priced drive at Best Buy (3yr as compared to 1 and 2). Would have given it 5 stars had it been a 7200rpm as many were, was an energy saving drive, or had I not had to low level format it prior to use.

After doing a lot of research on different hard drives on the internet, decided to visit my local store to make sure I was purchasing the correct item. This hard drive has a larger capacity than my original hard drive and was at a great price point. Install was very easy and straight forward.

I replaced a burned out hard drive with this one and have had fine performance. The $50.00 cost of this unit allowed me to save $450.00 when compared to buying a new machine. It fit in in place of the old unit with no difficulty and allowed me to restore a Windows10 back-up very quickly.

I installed this drive on the PS3, now i have 3 times more space than it originally have. This isn't a fast drive, but this is just good enough and won't overheat compared to 7200. Solid state is still too expensive at this time and not worth the money. I'd go with this one if I were you.

Hard drive is pretty good. Has lots of storage space and moves at the standard speed of a 5400 rpm hard drive. Got this on sale for around 50 bucks. Really good for the price. I wanted a 2tb drive, but those were 150. I'm not paying triple the price for double the space. Other 1tb hard drives were still around 80-100 dollars. Lots of bang for the buck.

I bought this hard drive to upgrade my PS4. It was very easy to do and had no issues. So if you're looking to double the hard drive space in your PS4 this is the way to go.

Bought this drive to upgrade my laptop storage space. I maxed out the one that came with my computer (500GB). 1TB is sufficient for me right now until Solid-State drives come down more in price and offer more space at a reasonable price. My only complaint about this drive is that it is a little slow (5400 RPM). This speed sometimes causes demanding resource intensive applications like Adobe Photoshop and iTunes to open slowly. But for the price I paid for this upgrade, this drive is a good deal.

Purchased to upgrade the hard drive space in a PS4. In 10 minutes had the old drive out and new one in; perfect fit. Performance is very acceptable. Only downside is it took forever to re-download all the PS4 games/patches/etc. Not a fault of the drive but fair warning to those upgrading their PS4s..

This hard drive was the lowest price I have ever paid for one of this size and It performs extremely well I am very happy with this drive I used to buy only Western digital drives however I will be getting these drives also in the future.

Used this hard drive for a replacement in my HP laptop. It was easy to set up and install. Seems to be running very well. Would have preferred a 7400RPM, but knew what I was buying.

After researching different internal hard drives for my 2009 Macbook Pro, I finally landed on this product. It was a brand I trusted, at a price I liked. There were raving reviews and wonderful warranty. The product arrived quickly, and installation was a breeze. Highly recommended!

We sent my daughter off to college and was debating buying her a new computer. She was more than happy to get my 2009 MacBook Pro. I decided to clean out the computer and upgrade the memory. This worked perfectly. It's almost like she got a brand new one! Apple really does make a good product and this one was compatible, easy to install and not expensive.

After my laptop hard drive crashed I contacted my laptop manufacturer (Toshiba) about getting a replacement. I originally had a 500GB hard drive and asked about the price for it. I would have spent $55 without shipping by using Toshiba. I went and checked out the selection at Office Depot first and I was dismayed they had few options at higher prices than Toshiba. I went to Best Buy and started looking through their selection. I couldn't believe I found a 1TB Toshiba hard drive for less than what I would have paid going through Toshiba. Thank you Best Buy for having exactly what I needed for a great price.

This hard drive was a great deal. $30 cheaper than the 320 gig the computer shop was trying to sell me. Simple installation for someone that had no idea what they were doing beforehand. My old computer is now better than before with three times the memory. Runs flawlessly.

Needed a replacement hard drive for a failed hp drive that was dropped. Installation was easy and drive was immediately recognized by windows. 3 Year warranty and for the price you cant beat. Always make sure you backup your data regularly.

Runs quiet and much cooler compared to the 320GB WD Scorpio Blue it replaced. No issue with partitioning and loading Win7 on it. Larger cache makes a huge difference, even though the computer I installed it in runs a SATA-II controller. I have used Toshiba drives for years in my Macs and found them to be excellent quality. They may have slightly lower throughput on average than a Seagate or WD unit, but I've never had to RMA one. Got this on a special buy deal, which made it an easy sell to the customer over a much smaller SSD. Coupled with a RAM upgrade, I expect the solution to keep them happy for years and the drive will easily outlive the rest of the computer.

it is a fast hdd and easy to install. i have to replace my old hard drive in my hp dv4-1435dx laptop computer and this one is a good choice. for 1tb of storage it is a good deal for the price, i paid $49.99 and it's a toshiba, so far no issues.

I purchased this Hard Drive at Best Buy. Very Good Price as compared to other Hard Drive's on the market. It has performed excellent since the purchase, and will provide much more storage capacity than what I had when I purchased my laptop.
