This Toshiba drive is essentially the same as the standard Seagate and Western Digital drives, but at a better price.

The hard drive was easy to install and setup. I just hope it lasts longer than the ones which came with the laptop.

So, I bought this for my laptop that had a hard drive that was about 95% capacity. I installed it, formatted it, installed Windows 7 and then upgraded to Windows 10. Nifty. ONLY DRAWBACK - it's slow. Yes, it's advertised as 5400 rpm, but I swear if it hits 4,000 I'd be surprised.

I bought this for my Playstation 3 because I ran out of space on my 320 GIG hard drive. Being a Playstation Plus member, you need some extra space considering the large # of free games they give you. This internal 1TB hard drive was $75 and and it's working like a charm.

I've had all brands of drives, WD, Seagate, Toshiba, and a few others. This one is a solid drive for the price. Took some format coaxing but it's been solid for me since I put Win 10 on it.

I upgraded my PS3 Hard drive and it works well and makes it had 3 times the space compared to my 320GB. However the flaw was I wished the PS3 had 2TB limit, but it did not work, which is why I ended up using this drive instead. This one does the job!
