I brought this HDD over a year ago still works fine

I bought this to replace the 500 GB drive that failed after only 3 years of light use and with 374 GB unused. I was not happy. So far the new drive is working as it should. It does not seem any faster than the old one but at least it works. I used a Seagate external drive for back up. I got most of my old stuff back, but it is not exactly the was it was. I had to hunt for some stuff.

Need a quick replacement drive for my daughter's laptop and this fit the bill perfectly. The only issue was the difficulty of disassembling the laptop to be able to replace the drive, but that's not a problem with the drive itself - that's just the design of the laptop itself.

The hard drive works perfectly. It has decent speeds and has tons of space. Great if you need it for music or video storage or even if you have tons and tons of pictures. If you don't store a lot of stuff on your computer, get a smaller cheaper drive.

Easy to install. Works as expected. No problems as of yet. I would buy again!!!

got this for my dell laptop 15R; working excellent. I had 500 GB HDD which is now relatively small as data is growing. Got this and replaced, installed OS again and its working perfect. Got this for $49 under weekly deal + $5 off certificate.

I purchased this drive to go into a refurbished laptop. The drive was well packed for shipping, was easy to install and was visible on my laptop without any issues.

have had this for a bit less than a year to upgrade my laptop's hdd. has been great (no clicking) and reliable so far. no issues as of yet, gave it 4 stars though because the hdd takes longer to start up than my old one. if you find this for a good price, get it

i order this for my ps4 and was easy to install just perfect.

I installed a second HHD in a Toshiba laptop p876-s7102 and it has help with the boot-up. In order to complete the installation of a second HHD in this series of laptop, you have to get a HHD caddy (readily available on E-bay). Here is the details -- remove power plug and battery, open the bottom cover, install the second HHD in the open bay, replace bottom cover, install battery and plug in the laptop. Here is the tricky part so PAY ATTENTION; BIOS menu 1- turn on the laptop, when windows finishes loading, press SHIFT and POWER button to restart. 2- turn on the laptop while holding F2. this will bring up the BIOS menu. make sure the hard drive is reading (installed). DO NOT CHANGE any settings. 3- exit the BIOS menu and return to windows. 4- Right click on MY COMPUTER select MANAGE. 5- Select disc management and wait till it loads. 6- select DISC 1 and select format and select single partition. I hope this helps for those who are looking to install a second HHD in this series of laptops. ENJOY your newly added space.

Bought this to upgrade PS3 120 GB HHD. Great replacement

Really I buy many of these hard drives, the price now is better and the health still as new. I really advice use these model and brand of hard drives. Really my next project is going to use one @ my PS3.

The Toshiba 1TB internal drive for laptop has worked great in my Toshiba Satelite laptop. Transferred all the information from my old drive to this one and have had no problems.

This drive is good for a PS3. I wouldn't recommend for a laptop. I installed it into my Macbook Pro and I've notice constant vibrating like if I were using my dvd drive. I'm just going to return it. Western Digital / HGST is what i'm going to look for.

I bought the item and I am very happy with the performance and excellent design.

My HDD developed Bad Sectors. Toshiba will gladly give me a credit for my original item at their store. But, they only sell the most expensive model at their store, causing me to pay return shipping and an additional $50 plus shipping charges to me for the new item. Don't buy Toshiba, at any price.
