Easy to install

Took me a while to pry the factory hard drive out, but once I got it out, swapping it for this one was a piece of cake. The BIOS recognized it immediately, and I had no problem installing Ubuntu 14.04 on it. Haven't had any problems whatsoever with it so far. It's given new life to a laptop that I abandoned two years ago.

PS4 Upgrade

This HDD is a perfect fit for the PS4 and would highly recommend. Haven't noticed any speed boost in loading games or while playing. The PS4 acts like it did with the stock HDD just with twice the storage space.

This: Toshiba - 1TB Internal Serial ATA 2.6 Hard Drive was truly a Best Buy at around 50 bucks and is up and running but of course it's a bit slower than a SD drive. I can't rate the longevity yet but so far so good.

I had a laptop hard drive died, bought this one and it's been running smooth ever since; no complaints. Toshiba makes great drives, and a bit cheaper than the alternative Seagate option.

PS3 Hard Drive Upgrade

It has plenty of space for all of my games and then some. Installed it and took the necessary steps afterwards and have had no problems with it. The price is really good and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade the hard drive in their PS3 (or PS4).

Toshiba Hard Drive Replacement Like New
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Geek Squad did a great job installing my new Toshiba hard drive...luckily I had backed up by stored data to an external drive before my previous drive bit the big one entirely. The laptop is working good as new now, very please with the results and it didn't cost me a thing (except for the hard drive itself) thanks to my Best Buy Geek Squad membership!
