I bought this television on sale for $150. I use this tv for my bedroom. Although it is a smaller tv I am impressed with the crisp picture quality and sound. It is definitely better than the old Dynex tv I have gotten rid of.

I was looking for a TV to find in a certain size space and found a 28" was as large as I could use. I read reviews on different models, decided whether or not I wanted a smart TV, before deciding on this Toshiba. It's in a spare bedroom where we really only use it for playing old school NES, SNES, Genesis, etc games on. Got this Toshiba on sale for $129 and it is fantastic. Just as nice as the larger Sony I had hung up on the wall in that room before relocating it to my daughter's room. The Toshiba is very bright and has a clear picture, and the sound is very impressive from a small TV.

My wife is happy to have TV at the kitchen streaming live 132 channels of Russian TV from ETVNET using FireTV. There are no need to have all these Smart TVs anymore once you have FireTV or Nexus Player. Easy to setup and not too heavy for wall mounting. Picture is great and even handles 1080p resolution (which I was surprised). Sound is ok for this kind of speakers, but voice is very clear and bass does not distort. It is worth every penny.

Pulled it out of the box, set it up and nothing happened.

Very good TV for the price! TV has lasted longer than expected for price. Very good picture until exactly 6 yrs from date of purchase. Continue to play but black screen, believe it is backlight.

I needed to replace a small tv, and after reading the reviews i decided to purchase. I was impressed with the picture quality as well as the sound. Only wish it had an hdmi input.

Bought this to replace a 10 year old Panasonic that was developing colored lines across the screen. After reading the reviews, and since the price was fantastic, I took the plunge and bought this tv and wow, I didn't know what I was missing. The colors are bright, the screen is crisp. I watch a lot of subtitled shows and the words are clear and sharp. Shipping was fast, setup a breeze except for my Roku, if you use the composite yellow video cord you have to connect it to the Y/Video output for the video to work. Very happy with this purchase.

I spent weeks looking at television specs trying to find one to fit under the cabinet in the kitchen. This TV was to replace a 19 in lcd that finally quit after 10 years. The height of the TV needed to be under 17 inches in order to fit on my kitchen counter but sit under the top cabinets. I wanted to find the largest screen possible that would fit in the space so it needed to have a low profile stand. This TV is a perfect fit. I love it. The picture quality is amazing. We have 3 working Insignia televisions and was going to stick with the brand but this Toshiba was a perfect fit for the perfect price.

I bought this as a bedroom TV and I had pretty low expectations for this television considering I paid $90 before tax (open box) but it actually exceeded my expectations. The picture is actually quite good and being only 28", 720p doesn't look bad at all on this set. The default picture settings are pretty bad but once adjusting them to my liking, the picture quality was great. The sound is also pretty decent. Viewing angles are not the best but this is a budget TV so it doesn't bother me. Overall, its a pretty good TV for the price. Pros: -Good Picture -Good Sound -Very easy to assemble -Very lightweight Cons: -Viewing angles not the best - Not the sturdiest TV considering how light it is -A bit bulk looking

I bought this 28" Toshiba TV to replace a "dinosaur" in one of the spare bedrooms where I had a Roku hook up. Toshiba products are easy to set up and in minutes I was watching movies on Netflix. The sound, color and quality are perfect for a bedroom, den, office etc.... I highly recommend Toshiba and have 3 of their TV's which continue to give me uninterrupted viewing free from problems.

This is a great little TV. It fits my mother's old TV cabinet. The picture and sound are great and she loves it!

TV picture was decent and size suited the need for my extra bedroom.

Returning this TV tomorrow. Smells like burning plastic/electronics & the sound is terrible. Picutre is ok; toshiba doesn't make TVs any longer--contracts the product out and it shows. Very disappointed as I like their laptops.

My 19 yr old daughter got it for Christmas. She hasn't come screaming downstairs about anything so it must be working great!

I purchased this as a gift for my nephew for his room. He was totally pleased with the picture quality and size, for his room.

I bought this for my dad for Father's Day to replace his 19" bedroom tv. It was on sale for $99.99. Wow, it's better than I thought it would be! The picture is clear and looks great for such a low price. Perfect gift. My dad LOVES it! Think we're going to buy another one for the other bedroom.

We wanted a tv for our kitchen, after reading reviews on this model, we ordered. Pleased as punch with it!

The features on this TV are pretty nice for a basic set. The picture is decent and the sound is better than others near this price range. Like someone else said the Samsung picture is better but the price is double. I had a small Samsung TV and it went out in less than two years. If it was my main TV I would probably buy something better.
