The TV works great but I bought it to play videos and view photos from a USB device. The problem I found was that you cannot access the USB device unless the TV is connected to the internet. None of the apps on the TV work without internet access! Even "dumb" TVs access the USB without the internet.

I can't think of a good thing to say. It's constantly losing internet connection. All my other devices work fine.I really needed this to work because the voice commands would have been great for me, I'm disabled. It may as well be in a dumpster.I cannot recommend this to a friend an enemy perhaps.

The HDMI ports on my non-smart TV died, so I could no longer stream content from Internet - via my laptop to my TV. Got this smart TV which connects directly to Internet tower and frees up my laptop. Salesman recommended Toshiba for user-friendly navigation software; he was right, it is easy. Also now have access to other networks via Internet & enjoying Gaia programming in addition to that workhorse: Netflix.
