It being Fire, not Roku it has access to far more apps than a Roku based TV, but the chipset in it just CANNOT keep up with this TV at all. I've had it for approximately a year now, and in that time I've had countless apps freeze, and return to the home screen. I've even had a few times that it just shut off on it's own. Once it's OFF and loses power it takes nearly 5 minutes to boot up to a usable state, and sometimes loading content takes FOREVER even without an internet connection (because it just automatically assumes it should have one, and you can't watch Regular TV until it decides "okay, there's no internet connection here." It's a moderately annoying TV and for the price it's arguably "worth the nuances" It's plenty bright in their direct-sunlit room, and the speakers are SURPRISINGLY decent for such a small TV. It's wall-mountable, which is definitely something I was looking for since it's in my kid's room, and I don't want them touching it; but I'm not entirely sure it was the best choice.. Just the cheapest.
