    Can't beat it

Needed a TV in my basement to go with my high end audio set up. Didn't want anything too fancy but wanted 4k, hdr, smart TV as cheap and simple as possible. The TV serves this role perfectly, picked it up on sale for $230. I have had it for two weeks now, and absolutely would buy it again if I needed another TV. Only thing it doesn't appear to have is some kind of chrome cast or screen mirroring, but you can control certain apps such as YouTube and Spotify over WiFi with mobile devices.

For the price, this seems like a bargain. Full FIRE capacity smart TV, internal digital tuner, apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime, 4K HD, etc. But it is quirky with digital sound. The volume will randomly drop to zero, and then slowly creep back to settings. There is a volume dynamic adjustment capability, but turning this on or off does not fix the problem. Not sure if this is a bug in the design, or we have a faulty device. Since it is intermittent, it is hard to diagnose.

The TV with Fire is great. But to make it superb add Echo Dot. Now I have virtually no need for a remote. Alexa turns the TV on/off, changes channels, allows me to search for programs, switches to streaming TV apps. This is the future. The TV is really a sophisticated monitor. Add streaming apps, an antenna, Pluto (a free must have app with literally hundreds of stations) and you will have no need for a cable subscription. This is the fuiture and the future is now!

I bought this TV for $199.99 (President's Day special). Very Happy with the picture quality and the plethora of connectivity options like 3 HDMI ports, RJ45 Ethernet, Wi-Fi (both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands). I have not tried the Alexa options yet. Hooked my Google Chromecast; I am able to cast my Android apps to it. The remote functionality is minimal. Perhaps much more can be done with through Alexa voice assist but I haven't tried it yet. Overall a great buy.

i was very impressed with this tv coming out of the box. it was easy to navigate, one remote to control everything, nice picture. but, here we are, 2 months later and there are dark spots in the right hand corner. when the color is light, its a group of about 4 smudge like spots. wasnt expecting those kinds of problems from a tv thats not even 3 months old

I bought this TV from Best Buy because it was the best deal I could find on a SMART TV. My father in law needed a new TV and I wanted to get him a smart TV with some apps included. It has exceeded my expectations. The remote allows you to talk to it, really cool. Because this TV is a 4K I love the picture and features so much I bought one for my self when I got home... The alexa features have been an added benifit that I am still having fun with when there is nothing I really want to watch.

Really nice picture quality for the price. I love having the built in FireTV to run the apps that I want without any additional wiring. The sound for an entry level 4K tv is pretty good. There is plenty of volume and bass for a medium-sized room. No need for a soundbar. The price was unbelievable. Thanks to Best Buy's Price Match Guarantee, I was able to get this tv for less than $195. That's unbelievable for everything included. Highly recommended, especially if you can get it for under $200!

I bought this Tv for my father that was in dire need of an upgrade, and an upgrade it was. Out of the box the television is defaulted to awful picture settings. A few minutes of tinkering led to a crisp, clear ,and colorful picture. Great Buy! just adjust the picture settings. There are countless guides online that walk you through the process. Also, with the money you're "saving" get a sound bar to really complete the package.

When Target pulled the old price increase as soon as I walked in the door to get a TV, I went to Best Buy and found this TV on a discount. The price is great and the picture is fantastic. The only concern is with the UI. Typically, I just want to start the TV and see what is on local channels but at the start up, one is taken to the Smart home area. There might be a way around this but I haven't found it yet. I would buy the TV again though since this is relatively minor.

While the color and sound on this are great, the ability to change channels is poor. The remote supplied with this is so cumbersome to maneuver between channels, I wouldn't recommend this due to that. There is no way to go to just the channel you're looking for. You have to scroll through all the channels in order to find what you need. It also does not load program information, so you'll need to guess what's on or tune in to find out.

I love having everything integrated into one attractive and highly functional package...especially at this price point! Great image and sound along with lots of entertainment possibilities. If i were forced to find fault in this package it would likely be the remote; while functional it is cumbersome for anything other than voice commands. Fortunately, I already owned an echo that paired easily with the TV to make it hands free! Now, I simply ask my digital assistant to handle the mundane tasks associated with TV viewing. :-)

This TV is amazing it has great picture quality it has the Fire TV built-in which is wonderful cuz that saves space for other peripherals such as game systems. I use mine mainly as a monitor because I wanted to be able to have a 4k monitor it works very well with it my only complaint is that if I turn the computer on before I turn the TV on it won't recognize the computer other than that this TV is really great and I recommend it to anyone looking for a TV

I assumed that it would have the screen mirroring feature like my Fire TV stick does but for some reason it doesn't...why don't they have that feature since even the very old Fire TV sticks have that? Then another missing feature is adjusting the screen mode or aspect ratio...for me personally I like the video to fill the screen...I was really disappointed that such basic features included on the Roku TVs aren't on the Fire TVs...

The colors are vibrant, clarity and functionality all within expectations, but the ability to connect to wireless network is very poor. I have this as an additional screen to spread out several windows (4-6) for simultaneous work between windows. For that purpose the set works well. It’s abikity to ack as a smart TV is poor as it continually drops the wireless connection or never sees it at all. I have laptops, iPad next to TV and they all scream 150 MBps or higher yet the TV won’t connect or see the network.

I spent 3 hours on the phone with a representative trying to get my new tv online, with no success. The rep guessed it might be the remote and I could take the whole pkg back to the store(after unpacking it and throwing away the packing?) or I could order a new remote. Couldn’t he just send me one? It would take 6 weeks??!! I was/am not happy. He ordered a new one for me 3 weeks ago. This was not Best Buy’s doing, but the Amazon tv.

It's a serviceable TV and does all the things a smart TV does like streaming, apps, only that it does not have native YouTube due to licensing, as I understand. The quaility is good but nothing excellent about it. If you are very demanding and knowlegeable about resolution, types of panels, response times, view angles, I wouldn't recommend it, but if you are looking for a cheap basic TV and it's in your price range, go for it

I like this TV. The picture is very clear. The FIRE TV integration is great which reduces the number of remotes needed. The OTA stations tune in without issue and the listings are a great help. The only thing I am not excited about is that the remote does not have an Up/Down channel option for the OTA. The OTA listings are alphabetical and not numerical. Yes, I can tell Alexa to tune to a station but now I have to remember which station is which (i.e., MeTV is 5.3).

A tv like this for under $200 is amazing. The apps work perfectly. No issues with the remote. The only issue I have is that cables for the inputs would hang on the opposite side of the tv from where the power cable is. So if you're mounting on a wall, you'll have cables coming down both sides (unless you get an extremely long hdmi cable and somehow tape it behind the tv before coming down on the same side as the power cable)

My other devices have no issue connecting to the internet, so that's no the issue. However, even when the wifi isn't being used on anything but the T.V. way too often, it wont load anything, takes forever to load, drops the signal. When it works, it works amazingly well and has a great image. But when it won't work it's unusable until it decides to stay with the wifi signal. I don't hate it, but am annoyed by it.

I have a 65 in curved Samsung 4K TV in the living room which is amazing, but it's definitely way too big for any other room. The 43 in size is pretty much perfect, if a little big for the smaller room. I found Fire TV to be just fine, but the star here is Alexa's functionality built in to the remote. I didn't expect much, but it turned out to be really convenient and accurate. I guess if you have a bunch of other IoT appliances that you are Alexa-compatible, you could build a nice hub, but I don't, so I only experienced the TV uses.
