The TV was very nice looking and big, but the picture wasn't very good compared to our 1080p tv. We bought it for the 4k for mainly xbox game to look better and they looked worse it after adjusting a bunch of settings it looked a bit better still to dark in my opinion I like my screens bright and crisp. But regardless I do enjoy the TV and the apps that allow me to watch free TV shows and movies. I wouldnt get this TV for better picture for games unless you have games that are made for 4k it made all the regular games look kinda bland.

We upgraded our sons tv with this Toshiba and he loves it. The only complaint is that there is no option on the remote or home setting screen to select and adjust the picture colors. In order to find out how, you need to download the manual online or call the contact number and they will walk you through the steps on how to pull it up. There is absolutely no way of knowing cause you have to hold down 2 different buttons at the same time to pull up the picture options.

Great for regular tv watching, not for gaming

Got this tv a few weeks back because my old one went belly up, was going to use this one for gaming as well as watching tv, but occasionally when I try to play a PC game, the screen will start to flicker black, when I switch to a different input, such as from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 and back, it stops briefly, then starts in again. Tried every possible setting on the tv and on my computer, plus, I can't really adjust much for settings with my graphics card as it will automatically reset when I click the apply button. I tried a different cable rather than an HDMI, and that didn't work, tried different refresh rates, but then it lags like no other. So if anyone is looking for a 4k TV purely for gaming, especially on the computer, I would not get this one. Otherwise, if you just want to watch a little tv, maybe movie night with the family, then this tv will do just fine for that.

Toshiba - 43" Class, LED, 2160p, Smart, 4K UHD TV w/ HDR, Fire TV Edition actually turning on is about the only highlight this unit has. How this particular model, at least, has gotten to a 4.6 rating is beyond me. The colors fade and change hue constantly using cableTV or AppTV. I spent a long time trying to adjust the picture and display settings to no avail since the firmware doesn't allow an on-screen picture while attempting to make adjustments. "Picture" doesn't have any adjustment when using an App. If you don't mind terrible colors it's usable. It's definitely NOT what I expected from a "Ultra High" featured unit. FireTV and Alexa? Not really my 'cup of tea' either! FireTV's menu needs a "navigation" overhaul. The Prime App doesn't differentiate between non-prime and 'prime include' programming as it does on a smart player. Alexa helps and does make getting through the menu easier but, her vocabulary could use some tweaking - i.e. "input" should at least bring up a suggestive menu without actually having to say "show me 'INPUTS', "S" added. I think the unit should have more common Apps preloaded. After finally giving up on the color settings, I returned the unit. Come to find out, I wasn't the only customer to have the same complaint! My very old LG Plasma and a Samsung "smart" blu-ray player works great - easy menus and correct screen colors!
