I purposely looked for a 'Dumb' TV (getting difficult to find), as I did not want a potential spy and preferred to hook up my own streaming gear if I wanted to go that route. I also was looking for something that might last longer and be more reliable, but that remains to be seen. My old Toshiba set (720p) is still going strong after 15 years but I don't expect that kind of longevity any more.

I Love My New TV
