Not a typical smart tv

This television came up in the search and we thought it would be perfect for us. However, there are no apps installed on the tv aside from the chrome cast. Therefore, it requires an internet connection as well as another device to provide the content to display through casting. We don’t use a tv often. Once a week for an hour or two at most. We thought we could get used to running multiple electronics simultaneously just to watch something. Unfortunately, the tv doesn’t stay connected to the cast device for too long. Upon interruption, a message is displayed that reads: “[NameOfTv] disconnected from [NameOfWiFiNetwork]”. The constant need to reconnect devices is not what we imagined when making the decision to try out the incorrectly- sectioned “smart” tv. Wouldn’t recommend this tv to anyone.

Chrome cast included but not WiFi

I hoped to give my granddaughter a simple and great quality item but chrome cast needs special connections they didn’t have available. Roku was a better solution.
