Trouble interfacing with cable, which we think is what causes the sound quality to fade and return in a cyclic manner. It is very annoying.

I bought this tv not understanding the chrome cast feature. I thought i would be able to access Netflix from the screen. Chromcast was way to hard to figure out and too many apps needed on my phone.

Too many steps to get it going. You had to download chrome to your phone and work it like that. A tv w roku is better

It stopped working shortly after being purchased. I was better off buying an Insignia that was better quality.

Great TV for $229.99

I bought this TV for $229.99 on sale for my guest bedroom. I see the regular price is $349. I'm not sure if it's great for $349 however.
This isn't a smart TV but I knew that before buying it. It has google chrome cast which allows you to broadcast the screen from your android phone or tablet onto the TV. This means you can kinda make it a smart TV. But doing that isn't always convenient. I added an amazon fire stick and it's essentially now a smart TV.
Pros: The speakers are the best that I've heard for a flat panel TV. I own 2 Sony TVs costing thousands and this one is better. The resolution is ok. I've seen better but I got this under $300 and for that price, its fine.
Cons: The remote doesn't have numbers so you can't go directly to a channel. The TV talks every action you make like "volume 30." Got annoying quick. You can turn it off tho.
So for the TV $230 and firestick $40, I got a wifi smart 43 inch TV for $270.00. Now I'm kicking myself for not getting 2 as I needed another for my other bedroom. I'd say it's worth about $300. If it every comes back down to $230, i'ts a steal.

Great picture and sound

Bought this for bedroom. Picture quality is excellent and the sound is loud and clear, something I've found lacking in some flat screen TVs. I love the built in Chromecast too. To my taste the natural picture setting gives the best quality. I would expect to pay at least $100-150 more for a TV of this quality. Highly recommended.

OK for $199

Apparently this TV is on sale quite often by looking at the Reviews. I thought I had got a GREAT Cyber Monday deal, but looks like I only saved about $30 more than most people. The picture and sound is decent, after all...was only $199! But likeothers have mentioned, the remote has no numbers which is the oddest thing and the Chromecast seems to only work with my NetFlix or Hulu and constantly freezes up with my DirectTV Now and just doesn't work at all. Huge disappointment on that.

I bought this Labor Day weekend to replace the last CRT TV in my house. Easy to set up, Chromecast easy to work with and always have my phone so I can access from there and cast to TV. Good picture - easy set up and menu to figure out

I bought this TV on Cyber Monday for $150 off the original price. I would have bought the one without Chromecast but this one was actually cheaper. I don't love the Chromecast feature. I use an Amazon Fire Stick instead. I like to have an actual remote and not have to interrupt my phone usage to control my tv. But besides that, the picture is great, the sound is great, the price was great. I upgraded from a 29" TV so this feels like I'm living that rich life even though I clearly am not. My only problem is that I can't figure out how to get my DVR to work on it. I have it plugged in where it goes and nothing...but I'm not super techy when it comes to AV equipment. But anyway, 100% recommend the non-Chromecast version of this TV. Save your money and get an Amazon Fire stick with the money you save.
