great t.v for family room or bedroom,sharp picture,good sound.

Bought this TV on Cyber Monday for $249 to replace the old 32 Sony in my bedroom. I did not buy this TV for the picture quality because I had already purchased the Samsung KS8000 on Black Friday. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the picture quality and sound. I'm not a fan of the Chrome Cast, but it not a deal breaker.

I wanted to get my laptop PC connected to this TV for the larger screen, and succeeded with the use of HDMI cable without using my smartphone as the remote for Internet TV. So, I am very happy.

I don't like the fact that the remote doesn't have number buttons to change the channel I have to go through them one at a time. If there is a better method please let me know.

The product listing mentions the average energy guidance to be $9 but the product delivered at my place has a $21 average energy sticker. Not sure why this stark difference is present. Otherwise the TV is an average one in terms of overall performance, the color is not very vibrant and the sound bass is very low for a DTS sound.

This TV was my first venture into 4K...I needed a Smaller TV for my workout room...I have a 65" Lg 3D TV and I love this Toshiba..Not crazy about Chromecast...doesn't make sense, but it's ok..I'm using this with an Apple TV and a Xbox 1...;so I'll never use the chromecast...The sound is nuts!!!...best I've ever heard on a tv!!!!...loud, clear and fantastic!!

If you're into watching movies from a USB, DO NOT GET THIS TV! The USB is pointless as it's only for pictures. All else is fine but this was my predominant necessity for this TV.

I have no idea how this TV has good ratings. I bought this TV on black Friday 2016. I have been disappointed since I bought it, but it has recently gotten worse. First off, this is not a smart TV. The only thing smart about this TV is the built in chromecast. In my opinion that does not classify this TV as a smart TV. It does not have an app store, apps, browser etc. Second, does this thing even upscale? I honestly don't think it does. It does not look nearly as well as my other 4k tv. Third, the TV restarts randomly. Fourth, sometimes my phones YouTube or any casting app for that matter won't connect. Requiring a device restart. Fifth, firestick has some issues which may occur due to the lack of power being drawn from the USB port. Sixth, THERE ARE NO BUTTONS BESIDES THE POWER BUTTON. I know the same button can be used to switch sources, but it's completely inconvenient.

I tried to get a 4k 60hz 444 signal working. The tv will accept it when hdmi mode is set to 2, but there are weird image quality issues, lines turn into doted lines and it doesn't appear to be outputting the signal correctly. Great picture quality .. sound quality is superb. A good value purchase.

this TV is as clear as looking out a window, we love it !!

So far so good. It did turn on by itself in the middle of the night and scared the life out of me it was only the sound and not the screen. Took about 5 years off my life to wake up to people talking in the darkness.

If you're looking for a high end 4K tv, look elsewhere. But for a low-mid budget, this is great. Stand is very sturdy and TV feels much more secure than a previous toshiba

Tuner could not unscramble basic free digital antenna input. Remote stinks--need to scroll through channels, no way to input specific channel you want. When turning tv on you are unable to go directly to preferred input--always defaults to chrome cast even if you are not using that. Awful human interface. Returned this tv immediately and replaced with a Sony.

I purchased this TV because it was on sale and I really just wanted a good deal. I read reviews, it seemed decent. I was disappointed firstly because when I tried to cast from my phone to the TV it was too much for my internet and caused my internet to crash, phone to freeze, and TV to freeze. I had to reboot everything in order to get it working again. I did not like trying to stream from my phone anyway, I would much rather just click the TV on and be able to pull up apps directly on it without having to stream through phone. Secondly, after having the TV for only 2 weeks it started to shut off every 20ish minutes and would only come back on after I unplugged it from the wall and plugged it back in. I took it back and am trying my luck with a larger, non 4K (which is irrelevant if you only stream shows like I do off Netflix and Hulu), non-smart, Insignia TV...

TV is very nice but with chrome cast its not very smart. You cannot access Amazon Prime.

Currently going to return this pile. The TV works but hardly works as intended. Either I got a defective model or the Chrome Cast is busted. Also has a problem keeping itself on. If you like your money look else where, this Television is a joke.

TV is blurry. We tried everything in settings trying to clear it up. Picture was not even as good as our old tv, so for 4K very disappointing. After a few hours, we packed it back up. It was bothering our eyes. This is just not a good tv. Back to Samsung or LG.

i guess if i read fine print on the box, after trying forever to hook up netflix....must use a phone or tablet to hook up to internet..not included......its going back today ............................
