    Worked fine for a week now screen goes black and tv is unresponsive geek squad plan is useless called them to see what they can do they said I have to call the manufacturer first and use they’re warranty first before they can do anything don’t buy it not worth it geek squad protection isn’t worth either waste of money

    Latency + Be Aware of Best Buy's Return Policy

    Purchased this tv to use as a computer monitor. The latency was so drastic, it was a no-go. Also, picture quality was not sharp enough. Boxed it back up and set out to return - that is when I logged into my account to print a receipt and that's when I learned about Best Buy's VERY UNFRIENDLY 15-day return policy. I'm 2 days outside of that return window. So now I'm stuck with a brand new tv that did not work for my purposes, and that I do not need - let alone out $246. Without question, going forward, I will choose other vendors for purchases. You've lost me Best Buy, hope these last $246 you got from me was worth it.

    Screen black after 15 months

    I have two of these tvs. I bought my daughters a month after I bought mine. Hers stopped working today. 15 months after I bought it. The screen is black which I’ve read is a backlight problem. There’s no reason this tv should be broken already. Gonna cost more to fix it than just buying a new one. Which I shouldn’t have to do after only 15 months.

    Nice but...the sound went out after only 4 months & they wont take it back at all,not even for exchange. No power surge or anything it just went out while I was sleeping. I thought Toshiba was a better brand, guess not.

    Bought this to replace a Roku. Opened it and installed it October 16th. TV is terrible. The picture freezes. The screen fades to black. Unable to return due to expired time frame. No response from Toshiba after leaving messages. I would rate it a zero if it were possible.

    Bad purchase

    I bought it 6 months ago, and it's already malfunctioning.... I can't turn off the TV, the only way to turn it off it's disconnecting from the cable, and when I connect the power cable, even when I turned it off with the controller, after 5 minutes it turns on by itself

    I do not recommend this tv after getting this tv it was working perfectly fine and only having it for a MONTH I came home to it not working outta nowhere I tried everything to get it to work but it’s not turning on and Best Buy customer service ain’t doing nothing about but giving me stupid links that’s not helping so yeah I wasted my money that im not getting back. And also keep in mind that this is A BRAND NEW TV newer model too and it does this and I not the only one where this has happened to.

    Multiple failed units

    Purchased 3 of these to place in multiple bedrooms. 1 of the three did not work, screen was blank and not allowed to set it up. Returned that one and replacement performed the same way. The other 2 work fine for the needs, but am concerned the firmware and display will act up quickly given the 2 failed units.

    This TV would be returned if I still had the option to. So far, TV freezes up and it has to be unplugged to get it working again. I will NEVER BUY A FIRE TV EVER AGAIN!!! I am disposing of this one and ordering a new TV

    I would give it a zero star, but unable to,. This TV works okay, but if you touch the screen you lose half of the display, sometimes they come back but most the time you lose. Lose. I touched the center of the screen barely and the whole thing is now black. Can't watch it. Terrible terrible terrible

    Audio issues

    TV had an audio that would playing over the audio on my channels or anything else I tried to watch. Turned off the tv and the audio still continued to play. Had to sleep that night with the tv on mute even though it was TURNED OFF. Replaced it the next day with a LG.

    TV’s are not made like they used to. I’ve had mine for 15 months and just today it’s turned off 3 times. Warranty seems like it’s only 1 year. Buyer beware.

    Buy a different TV

    Don’t buy this. If you do, don’t buy the Geek Squad protection. It stopped booting past the initial loading screen (just a few days outside of the return window). Best Buy says they won’t touch it until the manufacturer goes through their process first. If you thought the Geek Squad protection plan protects you with this TV, it doesn’t.
