This TV was easy to use right out the box. Can stand alone or hung on the wall easily. The remote has quick options to access Amazon Prime video, Netflix, Vue or HBO. The picture is clear and quite pretty. This is a great buy at its price point.

We bought this TV for a beach house. Quality is excellent! I couldn't believe the price. We bought a five year service plan for it - just in case. I love that this is a smart TV. It has been so easy to use.

Bought this TV as a new bedroom TV for $200. The fire tv features work great, the remote always understands what I say (beats the cable remote there), and I have no problem with any network connections. Everything I stream is full quality with no hitches. Menu is snappy and everything is where it should be.
The picture is great but it does take some tweaking. The defaults are little too bright for my tastes. The built in speakers are surprisingly solid, I thought I was gonna need to buy a soundbar but even at low volume the TV fills the room with sound just fine.
I haven't tried playing any games on the display yet so I can't comment about input lag. But at the very least, for a show watching solid budget set with a built in Fire TV, this is an excellent purchase.

Was a little hesitant to purchase a new television being that I had a perfectly fine working one. I saw this just walking through the store without the intention of purchasing anything remotely of this nature that day. I had to buy given the features it has and mostly because the price was a steal. It has worked perfectly since buying it. I do have to say some of the buttons on the remote stopped working for a while and was going to redeem my geek squad help but took so long to get to them it eventually started working again. Other than that the quality and picture of this television is exquisite and would recommend to anyone wanting to purchase a new tv with a great price tag to go along.

Got this on sale for $199. For that price, great deal. Used as a master bedroom tv.
We love Amazon and use Hulu for our live TV service, so built in Fire TV was the main draw. It is plenty large enough for our bedroom without being too large.
Don't expect the darkest blacks, but outside of that the picture quality is what you would expect from a basic 4k tv. Easy setup and has Alexa voice remote. Sound won't blow you away, but perfectly adequate for the price point.
5 stars for overall quality to price ratio. 4 stars if you don't care about price.

Picture is sharp, color is nice, sound is good, viewing angle is ok, at about 60 deg from center line, the color looked washed but direct on is perfect. That said, this is a AMAZON tv, it does anything AMAZON well but as a typical TV could be frustrating. I bought it and use it with the Amazon Recast and it is totally super, amazon video, netflix, hulu are seamless, Recast is a breeze to get to the recordings. But if you use air antena the remote won't allow you to go to next channel and previous channel. You can use voice to tune to a channel by the station name like "tune to cbs58 " but that was it. It would be 5 stars if it works well as a conventional TV

Decent TV That Works as a PC Monitor; Too "Smart"

When I got this I wanted a reasonably-priced 4K PC monitor, and if it also served as a television, which I rarely used to watch, then all the better. I had no experiences with smart TVs, though, and while enjoying the new-to-me experience of streaming movies and shows, I soon became frustrated with all of its unnecessary "features" and occasionally iffy performance.
The picture quality is pretty good, I see no artifacting or aliasing when I use it as a computer monitor, and nary a dead pixel has yet to rear it's ugly, black head. Knock on wood. The speakers are merely adequate and the inputs are somewhat more than adequate.
My main issues with this device are some of its smart features and a few intermittent bugs. Look at the picture of this TV above and/or to the right, and you will witness something you will probably never see in real life. The top third of the screen is given to advertisers (which you can't disable even though you own this device) that frequently blast you with audio (that you can disable) that you probably don't want to hear. The row of Recent preview thumbnails works for some providers/apps and not for others (like, inexplicably, Netflix), and the Your Apps & Channels section seems to have a mind of its own, often presumably those that are paying Toshiba or Amazon for the privilege. Apps can be uninstalled but sometimes they come back on their own. The included web browser at least works, but it is a chore to navigate. Settings are a mixed bag, and those that deal with picture quality are probably best left alone. The promoted HDR feature just seems to make most videos darker, and does not yield very much of an improvement when it works. The included Amazon Alexa voice assistant works pretty well but seems to be not very useful, as you already have a remote in your hand that can achieve what you're trying to do more quickly; the best use for this feature is trying to find the hundreds of Easter eggs programmed into her AI.
Some features don't perform like they're supposed to all of the time. The volume control on the remote seems to work, but its display rarely shows up on the screen; if ever there was task Alexa was well-suited for, it's telling her what number to set the volume to. The worst problem I've had with this TV is that sometimes navigation becomes sluggish or even unresponsive, the only solution I've found is to turn the TV off for at least ten seconds and boot it back up, which may be a problem since sometimes this issue includes not responding to the power button on the remote. Speaking of which, I've had to replace the batteries twice in six months, and I'm not really pressing the buttons all that much. Once the remote didn't work for a full half hour, which was pretty bad because there's far from a full set of controls on the set itself.
Overall I'd have to say give this TV a pass unless it's on sale.

My first 4K TV and first off the discount prince was perfect for me. I'm picky about these. The setup was easy with the feet. Not a surprise, the update took a while. The biggest reason for purchasing this is because on the remote, there are shortcut buttons for Amazon, Netflix, and most importantly my PlayStation Vue channels. The PS Vue controls takes a little getting used to but once figured out it's easy. It's also just as easy telling Alexa to change the channels or switch between the apps. I enjoy it and the picture is good as well. I also have it hooked up to my sound system through the sound out port.

Well, considering I missed the deal only hours that Best Buy had with this TV at a Lower Price and with a Echo Dot I am still a little upset.
But I went ahead and still purchased it because it was still on sale for $100.00 less than the Regular price.
Plus I used $50.00 worth of Reward Certificates.
So I think I still got a good deal in all.
Personally I am using this as a Second Monitor for my PC and I am able to watch TV or movies on Netflix or Hulu or other things while I work on my PC or even play games on my PC.
My main PC Monitor I use is a 65” Sony TV that is a Older Moldel that works great.
So for me it seems to work good.
The biggest thing to get used to is the Remote.
If you’re used to RoKu TV’s then I think you will know what I am talking about.
The Fie Edition TV has a remote that is Voice Activated and you Basically Need to know all the Channels and commands and what everything is connected to like if your TV is connected to the HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 and so on.
Personally I am Disabled and had 4 Traumatic Brain Injuries that I survived during my Military Service so my Memory is Severly impaired.
This has been extremely difficult for me and something I am having great problems trying to overcome.
But I guess I like challenges and I don’t like to quit and I am very stubborn.

I purchased both the 32" and 43" T.V.'s both units have excellent picture quality. My one chief complaint with the 32" is there is a big time lag when I use the remote control. For instance, when I turn on the power, it takes 5-15 seconds before the T.V. goes on. the same for any remote control use.... If I go to pause a show I am already in the next room when the t.v. finally stops playing and pauses.

I was excited to see how the Amazon Fire with Alexa remote worked with Amazon Prime and the free month of Sling I got with the purchase of the tv.
The remote sucks! It's really small, no light to show the small buttons, no number keys. Activated Sling, set up my Account. I have DVR set it up to record. I liked all I got with Sling and the money I am saving. The first recording and the first time really having to use the remote. I fast forward commercials. I push the forward button, it rewinds. I push the forward button thinking it must be opposite. Not! It would not fast forward! I tried so many times, I memorized what they were saying in the show I recordrd!
The picture and sound are great. My previous tv was a Samsung, I customized the picture setting and the sound, colors and font for the menu, there was way more choices than this tv and the menu on the screen was large, this one is small, comes up on the right side of the screen not the entire screen.
I'll see if I can get a different remote that's actually like what a remote control should be. I'm giving a score of 3 because the picture clarity is pretty good, sound not bad.
If you don't mind a remote control that's almost useless but, want great clarity in a tv at a pretty low price then go for it!

Picked this up for our guest room. Unboxing and setup is extremely easy, literally just plug it in where you want, put batteries in the remote, follow the instructions on the screen to connect to your wifi and you're good to go!
Don't forget this is a Fire TV so you'll want to have an Amazon account login ready to go sign in and start using the various apps.
Pro:
Crisp Image
Simple Setup
Super lightweight for hanging/moving
Cons:
Built in speaker is weak but fine for a small space
If you have other Fire TV devices, this remote has a different layout which can be annoying.

We wanted a new tv go in the master bedroom and I was a little skeptical about purchasing this tv since I had never bought a toshiba product before (we re big Sony fans). After hanging it up and getting it turned on I was extremely surprised at how good the picture quality was. Sharp, vivid colors. Great tv for the price! We ll see how it holds up over time but right now I couldn’t be more happy with it and the fire tv capability! If you are on the fence about this tv, don’t hesitate. So far, we love it.

I have had this television now for about 5 months and have no problems to report. Beautiful resolution, easy to setup, and has operated perfectly. Never had a 4K set before, and the picture quality is very good. Only thing I found was that LED screens have more of a degraded picture as you move to the side, unlike older LCD which seem to have a wider viewing angle. But, that is a small tradeoff for the picture improvement over older sets.

We bought one for my son's birthday and ended up liking it so much that we bought a second one for our other son as a very early birthday present. This is a great second TV; not a primary family TV. The picture and sound quality are awesome for a TV at this price point and we love having a Fire Stick built directly into the TV. We cut the cord long ago and stream everything so this platform makes it super easy to stream our content and mirror over many devices. I'd definitely buy another one if we ever needed it!

I love having everything integrated into one attractive and highly functional package...especially at this price point! Great image and sound along with lots of entertainment possibilities. If i were forced to find fault in this package it would likely be the remote; while functional it is cumbersome for anything other than voice commands. Fortunately, I already owned an echo that paired easily with the TV to make it hands free! Now, I simply ask my digital assistant to handle the mundane tasks associated with TV viewing. :-)

I am so happy with this TV purchase. The size was necessary for a bedroom. But the 4K option was a winner along with the Fire TV option. Never knew I needed the Fire TV edition as I have a firestick. But this option allows for my HD antenna to work within and gives me a channel guide like with a cable box. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS FEATURE! A pleasant surprise! All have been working well and I have a clean, clear, amazing picture. I am very happy with this TV purchase. I took a chance and it paid off royally.
