Replacing a fire TV that won't turn on and flashes

For some reason the red light flashes on the front of the television but it will not turn on. Let's hope this new television doesn't do the same thing the original fire television did.

Worst buy of a TV set ever; Horrible pict quality!

Nobody in the family likes the TV set as it does not work well with Direct TV Stream. Customer support is a joke.... non-existent! Never again will we buy Toshiba - it used to be great many yrs ago but not today.

Won't work if your internet goes out. Nuts!

A TV that won't play television signals if your internet is out. Makes zero sense. It's like a television that won't work without the remote control. Totally insane.

Amazon FireTV invasion of Privacy

Toshiba should have thought twice before they wanted Amazon FireTV to run their SmartTV business. Amazon is very well known for invading people privacy for Amazon's benefits. They want to spy on what we watch to see what they can sell us. I won't be surprised that Amazon is now listening and watching our every move so that they can benefit from this. I wonder when the US Congress is going to wake up from their sleep and protect US Citizens privacy from the Monster Amazon.

Bloatware tech disaster after one year. Deflective

At first, it was there was not enough memory for a software update and followed by low memory after the update as Amazon loaded it up with apps I did not request or want. Now the tv will not function without shutting down completely. Amazon Tech can't resolve. This not the same Toshba quality I bought on my 52" screen five years ago. This a tech disaster. Fortunately I have a memory and will not be buying this brand.

When you limit a product, you quickly turn customers away from a product that has mediocre capabilities. Hopefully in the future open source smart-tv's will become available.

That was not on all channels. Called toshiba and the people they got working there are very rude and there english was not to good. Not even 1year old and i said the hell with it.
