My dad has an entertainment center in his room, that previously housed a 37" Plasma TV. I wanted to upgrade him to something with a much bigger screen, but that would still fit in the existing piece of furniture. This TV looks great, sounds great, was very easy to set up and fills the opening like it was made for it.

wanted a big screen,,they leave nothing to the imagination and its good for my neck actually have to move my head to follow an action scene,,easy to set up, great picture...i have a home theater sound system so I cant tell you anything about that except it is on the rear ...I would recommend this tv

I was looking for a flat screen LED upgrade to replace a small, LCD TV. After looking at a specific brand/model I had seen online, our sales associate recommended this Toshiba as a possible alternate to my (first) choice. Lets see - brand name, larger, better picture, and cheaper? Great, I'll take one. While obviously not the same quality as a $1000 TV - this one is FANTASTIC for the price. The image is clear and sharp, set up was a breeze, and the ONLY drawback is the speakers are not great. Very good, but theres not quite enough available volume if you're expecting to be immersed in sound. For the money, this TV can't be beat!

When our old tv was damaged, I wanted to replace it with a larger one for x price. However my son researched and found this one with greater color definition for the same price. I gave up a few inches to have a much better viewing experience. Bigger is not always better. Great buy.

Bought in June of 2017 and it is still going strong. Picture quality is the iPad not the tv lol

I purchased this TV as an anniversary surprise. After weighing options against what we required v/s what we wanted, I decided on this particular model. The picture quality is fantastic but we have never used the onboard speakers, as we have a sound bar. I would have given it a full 5 stars but there does seem to be an issue with communication between the TV and PS4. The video and audio will just flat out stop for 1-2 seconds at a time. It usually only happens during video playback and since the PS4 is our primary entertainment device, it makes watching videos difficult. Luckily, it only seems to happen for about the first half hour or so but it’s still frustrating. We believe that since we stream most media that any fluctuations in the network speed are causing the PS4 to lower the video resolution and the TV is simply adjusting to the switch. I have yet to attempt to lock the PS4s video output setting but I hope it will fix the issue.

The tv was easier than I expected to set up. It was set up in no time and I was watching this beautiful picture. The sound is great for my small living room so I have not purchased the additional sound bar. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Thanks to everyone who reviewed this item before I purchased it. Great buy - purchased 2, one for the bedroom and one for the kitchen. Nice picture - people are pretty surprised especially when I tell them the low price I paid.

The best thing I liked about this TV is that it's an affordable good brand TV with the wide screen I was dreaming for . I was trying to get the same screen width TV used because I was tight on budget , until I received Best Buy's email about the sale on big TVs . I liked the fact of buying a brand new TVs instead of used because I was afraid they might have any minor screen damage or lines . The display picture at first wasn't good - but once you adjust the colors and sharpness , etc it will be perfect . The only thing I should have noticed is that it's not smart TV , meaning it can;t be connected to a wireless internet and thus I have to connect it to my laptop via HD cable to watch movies or youtube videos . Apart from this , I would definitely recommend it for anyone aiming for a good quality bog screen TV and doesn't care about internet connection .

This is a pretty good TV, especially for the price. Very easy to use and great quality. Only thing that is frustrating is that depending on what apps or outputs you use, the volume varies significantly. Other than that, I would have given it 5 stars.

Had this for a while now and it's still the best I have. Only down side is there is only one physical button on the tv unit. Maybe it is a good thing. The tv is very light weight.

Good price, easy to set up. It's not a smart TV but I don't need a smart TV. Let's hope it lasts longer than the 2 previous TV's that gave me only 2-3 years of viewing before failure.

Bought this as a gift for my grandmother. She needed something larger, relatively slim and preferably light in weight. This TV had all of the above.

This has a great picture and looks like a nicer more expensive TV I think this is great for a smaller apartment because it still feels like a big TV.

For the money, this tv is perfect. I actually returned a 4K Smart tv and got this one instead. Very happy with it. Excellent sound also.

Great sound. Picture is good. Simple setup. Size is perfect for mid size family room.

We bought this TV because we didn't want to use a sound system in the room where this TV was located, but still wanted decent sound. Obviously with a thin TV the sound will never be superb, but this TV does have amazing aound given the size of the speakers. The surround setting is cool and works well, it can play quite loud, and has decent bass. Best sound from a flat screen TV we've ever heard, and has surpassed our expectations. Picture quality is good, and easy to adjust settings.
