I purchased this TV for my mother for her birthday. This television exceeded my expectations. The picture quality and sound performances are equal to my Samsung smart tv. If you're looking for a TV that isn't a smart television I would definitely recommend that you at least give this TV a look. You can't beat the quality for this price.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my 80 year old mother. She needed something that wasn't a smart tv, with good quality. She has only had a couple weeks, but was very pleased with the gift and quality of picture.

This set really has a very good picture, and when you factor in the price you just can't go wrong. Toshiba is a brand you should consider when looking for another television, and this set will be better than anything else at this price point - by a country mile.

Easy purchase online. Easy pickup at store. Easy setup. Great price on Deal of the Day. Dark colors are digitized or have a rainbow effect even with the bright turned down, otherwise it would get 5 stars, but you can't beat the picture for the price.

I purchased this TV as a replacement for my living room set. Need a non-smart TV (I use a Roku 4) but still wanted enough HDMI to meet my other needs. For the price, this one can't be beat!

We purchased this to replace a TV that died after 3 years. It works great and has many TV apps standard. Easy to use and setup. So far it is working great. Colors are good but not the deepest blacks. Refresh rate is very good. It was on sale so it was an excellent deal.

I replaced a 40 inch Toshiba in my bedroom. I initially purchased the 43 inch but took it back because the 49 inch was on a few bucks more. I love it. The sound is amazing no sound bar needed. The picture is super clear. Easy remote control. Easy hook up with HDMI. Excellent product!

Needed something plain and simple for my dad who's up there in age. He's over 75 and refuses to mess with anything he considers to technical. This tv fit the bill and he loves it. In fact we went back a year later and got him another one for another room.

So far this tv has lived up to what me and my family was hoping for on our first led tv, even though we had to return the first one because of a red dot that looked like it came from a laser pointer. Best buy did replace it the next day after purchase, this is a great buy.

Overall a good TV for the price. Of course you need to curb your expectations because it isn't a smart TV. But at 49 inches, and 1080p, it's perfect for relaxing and watching Netflix or putting on a movie for the kids.

Bought this as a present for my sister, was very surprised at the crispness of the picture, it's not a Sony or Samsung but I could've bought 2 of these for the price of those.
