My 40 in Toshiba flat screen is 13 years old and works well, but I wanted a smart TV so I chose a Toshiba Smart TV and I am so happy that I did! I get 33 HD channels with just an antenna and a ton more of free movie channels with the apps! With the Amazon Fire built right in, it makes it so convenient to just talk to the remote and the show I want to watch just comes right on! I’m so happy with this beautiful TV!

Best tv ever. Still running strong and efficiently.

We needed another tv for our living space but decided to use this tv in our bedroom instead. The picture quality and features like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Movie channels are an idea when we want to relax and unwind with a good movie. Alexa is a great feature that helps us navigate without having to surf through channels. I love it my only problem now is choosing which movie :)

This TV is so lightweight and the picture quality is great. I love that the fire stick is built inside of the TV.

Great picture easy to work and set up it's a pretty tv and good size for a living room. The only bad is sound.

I was surprised at the quality of picture for the price! It is a great size. I bought it on Black Friday and wish I would have replaced some of our other TVs with this. We now have App based Web TV and the fire edition works great for that! Amazing that you can get a quality 49” TV for under $250!!

I did not realize when I bought this item that it was smart tv lol. I was just going by size as I have eye problems and the size makes it easier to see without straining. But after I figure out controls and how to hook up my Roku even if not really needed. the picture is really good and the colors are perfect no wash out or too orange although on some of the channels the picture does not go across entire width. But I love it. Even though I am not crazy about tv that talks back too me

Actually brought a deal of the day Sharp roku tv online. But saw this Toshiba on sale even cheaper (178$) when I went to pick up the Sharp. And so far I am very pleased with this purchase. Zero regrets This is my 1st smart tv. Love the fire tv built in. Easy to navigate for the most part. The picture is what it should be. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase...

If you think about it, adding Fire TV would cost around $40. If you deduct that off the price you can see what a bargain this TV is. The interface for the Antenna TV takes a little getting used to, but the Channel Guide for Antenna TV is awesome. It allows you to see future programming on channels like 68.3 (Justice). This is a perfect for a cord cutter like me.

It's a nice TV for $200. It's not 4K but that should be expected for the price. I purchased for our bonus room because it had the Fire Stick interface. I am a fire stick user but I recently purchased a TCL tv with a ROKU interface and like it better. I think it's a smoother interface. I would recommend getting a TCL TV instead. It won't cost that much more but I think it's a nicer tv. If you are looking for a deal, this is still a decent TV.

This TV is amazing, great picture quality and sound, smart built in apps and all at a totally unbelievable price. Setup took minutes, even a child could do it, built in apps include Amazon prime, HBO, Netflix and many more, multiple inputs and an easy to use remote. If you are in the market for a new TV this is the one to purchase.

This was a great 2nd TV in our home. Good picture quality and super easy, intuitive set up and flow of Amazon Prime. Only downfall is internal storage filled up so we had to delete some apps or get an external drive. Switching between streaming TV and digital antennae is easy.

Unlike standard smart TVs (think Samsung), integration of Fire TV makes this TV very easy to use with a responsive interface. The remote is very similar to the standard Fire remote with a few extra buttons. Some are necessary like "volume" and others not so much like "Netflix". The remote could benefit from a number pad to access broadcast channels directly. I was a little disappointed that the remote uses an inferred interface which has to be "aimed" unlike the standard Fire remote with uses radio waves. The remote is why I downgraded the TV from 5 stars to 4 stars.

I am extremely impressed with this Toshiba, and it is an absolute bargain if you can get it on sale. I agree, the hardest part is getting it out of the box (especially, if you are setting it up yourself--which is what I was doing). The TV screen is thin and somewhat fragile, so you need to avoid touching the screen at all cost, but this TV is surprisingly light for a 49-inch (24 lbs), so one person can easily carry it, once the legs are attached. The setup is a joke...even the most non-technical person can get this Toshiba up and running! How simple is it? Place the TV where you want it and follow the two pages of illustrated setup instructions (6 steps). Presto, this TV literally sets itself up once you push the ON/OFF button on the remote. Superb features for the price, including Amazon Fire-enabled, Alexa-enabled and 1080P resolution,
