    Awesome secondary solution

It is amazing what you can get for $330 today. I can’t remwmber spending less than $3000 for a top of the line tv over the past 15 years. As our family has expanded so have our needs throughout the house. We have a very nice, large high quality TV in our Great Room which is where we spend most of our viewing time. However, we needed a solution for a kids playroom on the main floor, another solution for the living room space within our bedroom suite to solve for our little ones waking us up at 6am on a Saturday morning and also viewing needs across our entertainment space in our billiards room and bar area in the basement. The cost of adding something like our main great room tv at $3000 a pop plus a cable box at each location made zero sense for us. However, adding 5 of these 50 inch TVs with built in Alexa and an end to end Application platform truly automated and eliminates the need for cable at a price point of $1650 for 5 TVs (half the cost of our one TV in the great room) with no need for Apple TV or any additional add on devices required. Unreal! And the quality of the TV is excellent for what I would call our secondary TV needs for our home. This device at this price point is a no brainer. Awesome find at Best Buy!

TV has great picture quality. This is the largest screen we've had. There's no distortion. The color is fantastic! We've always had Vizio brand and this is as good if not better quality than the Vizios we've owned in the past. First 4K, not sure of the difference that makes. Loves the smart TV aspect. Just a great product.

I love this 50” TV! It’s the perfect size for our living room. It’s easy to use and I love that I can go directly to Netflix or other apps right from the home page. It was such s great deal for $279.99, that my sister in law wants me to watch for s deal like it for her.

While I am still fine tuning the picture to my liking, overall I am pleased with this purchase. For just under $300 including tax for a 55" 4K TV, it's a pretty darn good deal! Pluses are easy set up, Alexa enabled simple remote, and feet that do not require a base as wide as the TV (this was a major consideration in my case). I run the sound through a fairly old stereo receiver with Sony speakers, and just plugged into the 3.5mm headphone jack to link the two. As with any TV of this design, a soundbar or sound system of some sort is pretty much a must if you want full, nice sound. Only significant negative that folks should keep in mind is that this TV does not have a very wide viewing angle. While the picture is still clear if viewing from the side - like at 45 degrees - the colors do wash out a bit. In our case, this was not critical, but in an other environment, it might be a concern. Overall, the set works well, is an extraordinary price, and you can easily access various apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime on the home screen. If price is a major consideration, this set should be a serious contender!

We purchased this unit to replace a 40" 1080p that we have had for a couple of years. The different between the two is incredible. Blacks are great, picture clarity is phenomenal, and it does well with fast action. Games on our Nintendo switch are beautiful, with sharp graphics, deep blacks, and no artifacts. The Roku feature is convenient, but doesn't work any different than our Roku Premier. The remote is a bit odd, as it is just a Roku remote with a few extra buttons. Would like to have a number pad to direct access channels, but that's not enough for me not to like this TV. Overall very pleased with our purchase.

Works great! Love that it can’t with the FireTV so we didn’t have to buy another stick. Got it on sale for Father’s Day and haven’t had any issues. Easy to use, easy to set up, great quality.

Bought this TV during Black Friday sale. I use it in an office where I have high speed internet, but not cable. It is “streaming” ready and the Alexa button is awesome to find any show or movie by just asking. I have an accent and Alexa gets me what I want at the first time. Color, resolution, sound, streaming and Alexa are all great, but I wish I would have gone bigger than 50 inches.

Was looking for a 4K TV that wasn't overly expensive, but had a good picture. This satisfied both criteria and love the built in Amazon Fire. Would be better if it had HDR, but for this price and for where we were using it, it was great buy.

I will start off by saying the 4K quality of this TV is great! This tv also has wonderful color contrast and overall picture quality! Where things get iffy is with this TVs HDR! I will start off by saying yes this TV does support HDR10 and yes it does look better than TVs that don’t support HDR but the quality of HDR on this tv is mediocre at best! This TV does not support wide color gamut and does not get very bright for HDR. For me this made a great bedroom tv and I do believe for the non videophile people it will be a good main TV.

We opened this tv the night we brought it home and have been enjoying the big, bright picture and amazing sound ever since! I specifically wanted this model because it came with the Fire TV included, and I'm an Amazon Prime member and fan of the service. I was able to instantly connect my cable remote to use for volume, channel and cable options. The Fire remote works fine for my needs, as I also have Netflix and like using the two handy buttons for my services. The hookup for my cable, dvd and sound system was easy and quick. I am very happy with this steal I got on Black Friday!

Our TV is in a corner of the room which necessitates a rather small triangular table. We looked at virtually every 49-50 inch TV to find one with feet spaced closely enough together to fit on the table and this is the only one that would suffice. Since we usually gravitate toward LG, Samsung, or Sony electronics we were a little reluctant but bought it anyhow and were very pleasantly surprised with the picture quality, ease of set-up, etc. No complaints at all. And the price was great -- $299 at Best Buy. I wish the HDMI ports would have been in the back of the console instead of the left side, which makes the HDMI cords a bit conspicuous, but it's really not that big of a deal. I would definitely recommend this product

I really wanted to love this TV all the way through but... There have been some issues that I don’t care for such as lack of space ...I have a handful of apps and it pops a message up saying there’s no storage space left and to delete some apps A lot of this consumed storage space is probs due to system upgrades and also taken up by the screensavers that you cannot remove It’s frozen a handful of times and once I had to call toshiba customer support to get my tv to function again Minus the bad it is a great TV...easy to use and navigate...easy set up and looks great

For $300, it's the best value you'll get for a 4k smart TV. Remote and app switching is quick enough. Volume is surprisingly good for a base model TV. Contrast ratio is terrible, but Toshibas have always had bad contrast (yes I know this is actually a Toshiba branded Hisense, but Toshiba is on the box). Good - Great value, quick app changes, PS4 and XBOne games look great without imaging artifacts or problems OK -. Remote requires too freqeunt updates that lock out tv access for about 5 minutes at a time. Only 4 GB storage, but USB expandabel. Ugly - their are better pictures with actual functional HDR, but for $300 and 50" smart TV, this is the best. Perfect cord cutting TV for me.

This TV fits all my needs. It has a great picture and great sound even without the sound system I purchased to go with it. Was a pretty simple setup and I did not have to use my rocketfish because there are enough HDMI ports on this TV. Set up with the fire TV linking to my Alexa turned out to be pretty easy too. Was a little more difficult to set up my Hulu account. The jury is still out on whether or not I can actually link my Dish service as it says I can but it hasn't worked yet. Overall great deal for my money.

I love this TV. It does need some picture tuning to get it to look really clean. Adjust the "picture mode" and "white balance". Also in Settings go to "Display & Sounds" change "Power On" to "Last input". This way every time you turn on the TV it will be on the last input you had it at, ex. Cable. Works great with an alexa echo. Voice command what input you want, what volume, power on or off...

I love this tv, the picture is clear and the sound quality is astounding. Some downsides is that the remote is VERY sensitive. So I have mine in my bedroom. If i have the remote sitting on my bed and I accidentally hit/roll on it, the tv will turn on. Which is SUPER annoying when that happens in the middle of the night. I only stream TV, I havent had cable in years. The remote is more designed the same way a fire stick is.. so theres not a spot to up and down channels, maybe that would just be the up and down buttons themselves? regardless, its made for streaming.. which is what i was wanting!

By far the most amazing purchase I’ve made from Best Buy. My situation makes me biased but the fact I did the cord-cutting and use Netflix, Hulu, PS Vue make this the best choice out there... especially the PS Vue being built in. This would’ve been my ideal TV anyways but then factor it’s super affordable price and it’s over the top. Great picture quality and made my Vizio’s sound quality seem pathetic (volume of “30” on Vizio is like 10-12 on this unit). Fantastic

I bought this TV after I returned Roku 49 inch TV. I am a sound person. Once you had great sound you can't go back to Beezy. I like all the Specs for the price 2160 4K HDR Fire inside. I decided to purchase because the sound on the Roku was terrible. My son has a 32 Roku 2015 model and I did not realize how low the Roku platform sound is. The sound on Roku TV are up and down depending on what App your looking at. Netflix may require that sound is on 20 + YouTube the same depending on production amateur or professional. Some commercials are lower or higher from commercial to commercial. I just could not tolerate the sound and did not want to have to depend on my sound bar. So back it went but. Now as for The Toshiba which I was hesitant because the last Toshiba I had kept in mint condition went out after a year and 4 months. Painful but this Toshiba has been pretty decent so far as I said the sound is what I love the most. Picture is OK . 4K quality is nice to on small amount of content. I can find. I have a Roku Ultra hooked up and it gives me some 4K content. Videos were beautiful so if and when their us 4K content on a regular basis you can judge for yourself. Bottom line is a person looking for more than fair technology for cheap this is it.
