Overall happy... but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked up the 50 inch about a week and a half ago for $399. At the time it felt like a steal as it was listed as 4k uhd HDR set for under $400. It was also listed here on best buy as being Bluetooth enabled so I picked up some headphones to go along with. I get the tv setup following all the prompts. I saw no options for searching for Bluetooth. I downloaded the online manual and saw nothing. Wasn't a big deal as I was enjoying the tv too much. I was curious about what type of hdr was supported (hdr10 or dobly vision, probably should have researched more) so I started poking around more to try and find out. Found myself back on the best buy site where now it is listed as not having HDR? Bluetooth gone also... huh? Just fyi the box does indeed say HDR on it. The manual mentions it and it's settings but doesn't say it's standard HDR10 or Dolby vision. I've ran the HDR test where the boxes get brighter and I clearly see three brightness changes on all sizes. If I'm understanding the test correctly that means this tv has somewhere between 400 to 1000 nits? I can also say my standard ps4 "supports" my tv's HDR. When I boot up horizon zero dawn the tv goes into HDR mode. Subjectively I can say it looks great but I'm no expert. Overall I'm very pleased with the tv. The chromecast works great streaming Netflix and YouTube in 4k(select stuff). If you're expecting "smart" features beyond the chromecast you'll be let down. It's a great tv for the price I got it. I only take off a star because I am a bit confused with the HDR capabilities. HDR was the selling factor.

Look elsewhere
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Only thing that matters is the picture, and that’s what sucks. The colors are washed out and the blacks are not very deep. You get what you pay for and this is a great example.

Lasted 2 days
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it during cyber monday, Finally installed it 2 days ago in the master bedroom, and on the third day of using it it took 5 minutes for the picture to turn on. 4th day only sound, no picture. We used it for 1 hour before bedtime each night. This is unacceptable. Wish I read the reviews beforehand. Is there a fix that someone can help me with?

Well...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the first 90 days everything was going good until the back light went out and couldn’t get a picture to display on the tv. The only time I didn’t purchase a extended warranty and the tv decidedly to break down on me. I sent an Email to Toshiba's customer support with all the info that was needed from what the website said since they don’t deal with tv issues over the phone anymore I never got a response.

Disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sold as a smart tv but really isn't. Yes it has Chromecast but it has nothing else built into the tv. Picture quality a 6 on a scale of 10. Sorry I purchased it!

I do not recommend this TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have had 3 other Toshiba tvs in the past. they have all been excellent tvs. This tv was not of Toshiba's usual quality. We returned it and purchased a different brand. the sides of the picture looked like they were rolling off the edges of the tv and it was worst when there was fast action on the show.

Beginner level 4K
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is more of a budget 4K tv. Doesn’t do anything too crazy and the picture is not too nice.

It broke in less than 2 months
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It looked nice. But just under two months in the monitor went black and when I turned it off and on it gave three red flashes on the power light and that was all she wrote. I returned it under warranty and got a new tv.

Picture quality is very bad. Not worth the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture quality is very bad. Clarity and image detail doesn't feel like a 4K tv. Mild white spots appear during black scenes.
