Great tv and with chrome cast built it what more could you need. Good picture for the money

Paid 300 during the black friday/cyber monday sales. It works great. I love it and the price was the best! Tv is awesome and decent sound also!

My wife and I decided to upgrade from our older 43" TV, and after looking at various brands, features and prices, we decided to purchase this Toshiba 50" 4K Ultra HDTV. We're extremely pleased with it. It took about two minutes to install the base, and about five minutes to set up the built-in Google Chromecast and sync our cable remote.The picture is bright and vibrant, and my PS4 looks great on it. The sound is surprisingly good as well. Long story short - this TV is great, especially given the price.

I wanted to love this tv, I really did. The physical appearance of it looked awesome. The fit and finish made the tv look very classy and expensive, and also it was thin and light. My issue with the tv was that for a 4k tv, the picture quality was mediocre at best. I tried all sorts of different settings and I just couldn't get it to a point where I was impressed. My regular LED tv looked much better than this one when it came to the picture quality. This was my first 4k tv so I had high hopes. I watched 4k on my friend's tv so I knew what to expect but this tv just did not deliver. I was back and forth between this one and the sharp roku 50in tv (LC-50LBU591U) since they were the same price. I ended up exchanging this one for the sharp after a week and I am soooo glad that I did. The picture quality of the sharp is much much better to this one. The other main issue for me with this tv was the chromecast. It was a complete let down. I stream a lot of shows from Amazon prime videos, and chromecast is not able to stream Amazon prime. It has something to do with the agreements between google and Amazon, where google wants you using their products and not amazon's like the firestick. So it's quite silly, but for me it was a deal breaker. I couldn't have a tv that wasn't able to stream Amazon prime videos. Also with chromecast, you have to have a second device like a smart phone or a tablet for the chromecast to actually work. Like I stated, I exchanged this tv for the sharp which is a roku tv and I love the features the sharp roku tv gives you. I can now stream ALL of my shows, doesn't matter if it's prime, Netflix, Hulu or whatever. If you're like me and trying to decide between this one, and the sharp, don't make the same mistake I did and get stuck having to do the exchange. Save yourself the trouble and just go with the sharp, you won't be disappointed!

For the boric it's a great 4k tv. Clear picture and works great with me ps4 pro.

This an average tv but it has Chromecast built in which makes it that if you have Google Chrome on your laptop or desktop to put it on your TV. Apps are also nice on TV.

Affordable tv, great picture and versatility with chrome. I would add a speaker or audio system to boost sound quality.
