My wife got her Dell Inspiron hard drive so corrupted with malware, it was unusable. I found this replacement hard drive online at Best Buy and the replacement instructions on YouTube. Picked up the drive at my local Best Buy and had the drive reinstalled in minutes. It works great and actually has more storage than the original that came with the laptop.

Not too noise, not too expensive. good choice when you have nothing to choose... haha

I got this to replace my daughter's laptop hard drive which crashed. The installation was actually very easy for the hardware. Once i did that it took just a bit of research to make sure it was formatted and ready for Windows 8.1 installation. There is really no instructions so you need to dig in a bit to find it but then it was easy. It works fine with no issues.

Harddrive went belly up after several months from purchase. I have a Toshiba laptop. The Geek Squad was contacted for repair. I picked out this drive due to its sale price of $49 I had a $5 coupon. Heck! $44 for a harddrive...SOLD!! Toshiba laptop deserves a Toshiba Harddrive

I work on my on computers any time they have problems always go to Best Buy for Hard Drives never had any problems and they carry the brand that I want. Thanks Best Buy! Hard Drive works great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty much exactly what I was looking for at a price that was better than I was hoping for. For a basic, internal replacement drive for your laptop you can't beat this. At half a TB you're good for all but the heaviest users and, although the SHELF price came up $3 more than the web price, the store was quick to make good on the fantastic price. This drive has pretty much every specification I would want. No shortcuts on transfer rate (3 Gbps) or cache (8MB) and the 5400RPM speed should get the most out of my Laptop and even includes internal shock detection. The drive even comes with a 3-year warranty and with THAT, i was sold. Even bought a second one at this price because it's worth it to just have one lying around for me.

This is my only chance to buy (myself) a replacement which happens to be a Toshiba - 500GB Internal Hard-Disc Drive. My sister Judy helped me replace from the bad hard disc drive into a brand new replacement as a very-good hard disc drive, and it worked very perfectly. I really enjoyed it. Thank you very much.

Even though I am a Seagate person, the price of this being almost half of a Seagate is attractive. Remember though to always back up your data regardless of what drive you have to prevent data loss in case of drive malfunction.

We've had the hard drive operating in the PS3 for weeks now with no issues. The swap out with the original hard drive was easy, and performed without issues. This swap out took us from 80GB to 500GB - room to spare!

Added this to my PS3 and have much so much space!! I replaced the original 80gb so this was a huge help to download the free games with the PS Plus accounts.

Needed to quickly replace a failed drive in a budget laptop. Have used this drive at this price point 3 times in the last year with no issues whatsoever.

So far so good, their ssd's are great so I was going to try this out as extra storage for my laptop. I pulled drive and used a cdrom adaptor to install the extra drive in the cdrom bay. Love it!

This is a good drive for the money. It is easy to install, taking less than 15 minutes on a MacBook Pro. Working just fine. No issues downloading new Apple OS.
