Old hard drive was going out. So I replace a 5400rpm with a 7200rpm. Faster boot time. And very quiet.

Make sure you save your receipt as toshiba will not honor any warranties without one. Unlike other hard drive manufactuers

once installed and programed my computer is now functioning fine. This hard drive is a little more sensitive than the old one was but that is not a bad thing.

The original disk with the laptop was 60GB and I was always at or over 95% capacity. This new disk allowed me to load the system with many large files that had to be stored on an external USB device. Migration to the disk was relatively easy and system performance is greatly improved. Excellent price performance. It should give my laptop another several years of life.

This is a good deal for the money and I like this brand vs Western Digital and Seagate. BB price was cheaper than anywhere else at the time.

Picked this up for a friend with a bad hard drive, worked perfectly as an oem drive replacement, Very fast boot time with windows 8.

I needed to replace the hard drive in my laptop with the same model with which it came. This was the same model/price/etc, and the price was lower than anything comparable in specs. I was replacing the one that shipped with the laptop for security purposes - the prior hard drive had only been in use for 1 year, but it had no issues during that time.

It is hard to review a product that is brand new. Ask me again in 2 years if this product is still working. Price is okay.

Although the original PC hard drive got damage purchasing a replacement was at a reasonable cost and worth the repair. Data was all there and that was a big plus

I bought this for my playstation 3 when its HDD broke. It works great, doubled my storage, and was easy to install. The people who worked there weren't that big of help though, they really didn't know anything about it. Other than that I have no complaints on the item.
