    Need some work

    Firestick tv is a great idea but it need some work. I had mine for 1 week before it started to have having video problems. The first problem my Tv had was having sound without a picture, That will often happen when switching input devices. The second problem this tv had was the speakers started to hum even after the tv was powered off. That was the final straw that compelled me to return it. Other issues to consider if you use YouTube to watch videos you will not have the You Tube app available as google is not available for Amazon devices. Amazons work around with silk and Mozilla is fair at best. Yes it could be I received a lemon nonetheless I want to say I really wanted this tv to workout as I am a prime member. I have 2 Roku Tv’s by sharp and I would recommend you look elsewhere at least until Amazon and Toshiba can get it together. If you still want the Amazon feature buy an Amazon stick. The’re great.

    I’m sure this is an awesome TV so I will at least give it 2 stars. Got it home and it worked fine for a couple of days. On the third day, the tv started blacking out and started giving a no signal message. I initially thought I was having issues with cable box but the tv actually did the same thing while watching the built in apps. I ended up taking it back and was going to try the same model but they were out. I actually ended up with a 55” Sharp 4K Roku tv and have been really please with it.

    Great size, but glitches

    The tv was a great price for a great size however, it tends to glitch out a lot and our remote goes in and out of working, as well as the voice control on the remote has never worked. We kept the tv standing up straight the whole way home as recommend at the store and have brand new batteries in the remote. However sometimes the picture will freeze upon opening an app or glitch during usage therefore we have to manually turn it off and turn it back on.

    I bought the tv at the advice of a sales associate. The price was great and it was compatible with Amazon’s Alexa, which was a huge selling point. Got it home and read the reviews, including reviews through Consumer Reports, CTN, etc., then took it back (had Bestbuy pick it up) without opening it, and bought a different tv. Honestly, I can’t say if it is a good tv or not, but I wouldn’t recommend it based on my research, which I should have done first.

    Ended up returning

    I ended up returning this to the store after three days. The refresh rate is too low for the size of the screen. It had terrible problems with tiling and picture freeze/lag. This was with cable, DVD, video game (Switch) and FireTV. That being said, the FireTV functionality and Alexa control was a highlight but not enough to deal with the picture issues.

    Have to admit I'm surprised how laggy it is, not sure if its a slow refresh rate or what, but it has all these weird glitches on screen transitions for tv and on video games. Kinda wish I spent a little extra on something better but I guess you get what you pay for it was reasonably inexpensive. Picture is okay but the lag and glitches detract a lot from it.

    First remote only worked for one week. Had to call Toshiba. They sent a new remote. This one doesn't work either. Not sure if it the tv or the remote. Had to download a remote on my phone. Can't take it back to Best Buy have to go through Toshiba. I should be able take it back to where we bought it. But supposedly that is not the way it works.

    Jumpy picture for fast moving video

    I find this tv to be very jumpy for sports especially and other fast moving video. My tv looks much better when I plug a regular Fire Stick into my Fire TV. It's very frustrating. The processor in the TV is obviously weaker than the processor in the actual Fire Stick.

    Picture is sporadically shaky

    The picture does a funny vibrating thing every 20 seconds or so. Phenomenon last a half second, but can be distracting. It happens while streaming or watching DVD/Blu Ray. Acts like a computer processor is trying to catch up with the picture. Love the Alexa search features, though.

    Tons of options on the TV but after getting this because of a power surge on my Sony Bravia the differences are obvious. Whether it’s watching HD cable, or on a PS4 the colors just don’t pop. I’d pay a few hundred extra to get a better TV, really regretting this one.

    We bought this tv right before the Black Friday sales and it was a very good tv. It only lasted about 6 weeks. The tv was on one day and the screen went black. The sound remained but there was no picture. We returned the tv and purchased a different brand.

    TV had good picture, easy to set up, ton of apps. Bad; can not hook up to Comcast cable!! Will be returning just for that. Reviews at comcstate no app support ffire TV's. Would not have bought this if I would have known before buying.

    Sling app not working

    I tried installing Sling tv app, but this app is not found in search list .Tried the same way as explained in many videos but this tv does not behave same as shown in videos.not able to use sling free subscriptions

    Gets a good picture but it has a jittering spot in the middle of the screen and sometimes in different places. It does this whether I am watching DVD, blu ray, 4K blu ray, cable and streaming. Very irritating

    I can turn on and off the tv and watch cable but anything else in the control works! I went to the store and got another control and happened the same!

    The picture was not as sharp as we would have liked. They explained to us that this was more of an "entry" level tv, we bought a samsung instead.

    This TV has a lot of bells and whistles, many of which I probably won't use. The only problem I see is that it isn't as sharp/picture not as clear as my other, different brand TV's

    I replaced my old Toshiba tv with this 4K HD one. Very disappointed that the picture is of poorer quality than my old Toshiba tv.

    This TV is geared to those who don't watch traditional TV. It seems more like a 55" computer screen that does TV too.
