After moving into a new home, I needed to upgrade my bedroom television. A co-worker of mine told me about a great deal on a Toshiba 55" tv. I decided to pick it up and after I set it up, I turned it on and saw an amazing picture! This has to be the smartest purchase I have made in a long time!

I paid $349 pre-black Friday. For $349, this is a very good television. Picture is pretty good, video games look great. Any content not running at 60fps can look less precise. I had a microprojection hdtv and this blows that away. Obviously, a more expensive set will look much better but at this price, I can't complain.

Great TV for family room. I bought this to replace a plasma and I am 100% pleased. No issues at all. I was concerned with the speakers being low quality as others had said but honestly I think it's great and uses far less electricity. Football, movies, hockey, cartoons- all great picture. Furthermore, the price (350) for this TV makes it all that much better.

The price was unbeatable at the time ($350) so I purchased this tv. It is a 55in 1080p LED display, with small bezels and a 8 ms response time! The stand that came with it is not very sturdy however, so be careful to not accidentally knock it down.

Definitely enjoy this television. It has a great picture from almost every angle. The sound on this particular TV is awesome, especially for me who usually has to put on the closed captioning on because I can't hardly hear. Going to be looking for another one like this but smaller.

At a purchase price of $479 this was a good buy. The picture is bright and handles sports motion nicely. The sound is weak but not surprising considering the price point. Overall this is a good buy.

If you're looking for a large screen tv on a budget then this is a great offer. Picture quality is ok - not great / not bad! There is a small humming noise but if I hadn't read other reviews commenting on it, I wouldn't have noticed it. Does not interfere with overall sound. All in all, a good purchase so far.

Great TV. Comparable to my previous model Samsung. The sound is incredibly loud. I only need it at a 5 or 6 compared to 10 on my previous Samsung TV. Picture quality is great.. No complaints. At this price you can't go wrong!

Great TV .... We did a lot of shopping before we chose the Toshiba 55' and we got a great deal, amazing price and awesome color. The only con is the sound is not very loud so we bought a sound bar and now its complete. Enjoying the size, color and quality ! Thanks Toshiba ( - :

Got it on sale for $250. Make sure to change the view to dynamic to avoid the loud humming sound from the TV when the TV is on. Still worth the money when it is on sale, but if I paid full price I would have returned it because of the humming.
