Only reason for 4 stars is the issue with the buzzing.....google it and you will see its a common issue with this model.....it can be fixed super easy just changing a setting with the remote. Price is right for the product.

I was looking for a good basic TV after deciding that I would rather get my "smart" component from a Roku, rather than the TV manufacturers. This 55" was a great price and gave me exactly what I wanted - a much better "smart" TV at hundreds of dollars less!

My one and only problem with this purchase is that the audio out jack that the technical detail page claims turns out to actually be a headphone jack. This can be overcome with an adapter. The sound from the built in speakers is a definite weak spot. As far as the picture it is excellent.

This TV is a great TV for the money. I upgraded from a 42" 720p TV to this one and the picture quality is great. The built in speakers are weak but even a low end sound bar resolves this issue. It's not the best TV on the market but it's a great way to upgrade to full HD for the price.

Bought this TV to be used for new Wii U console from Christmas. Perfect size for split screen type games like Mario Kart. And the price was fantastic. I was surprised about the quality of the picture for movies that are in 720p. 5 stars for the combination.

A good TV for the price. Its a 60 hz panel and behaves just as one would expect. No real features and none smart. I am very pleased with the functionality of this set. Its simple to operate and preforms just as a TV should.

Picture is really good. Sound is average. Could use some more RCA analog connection options, but those types of equipment are obviously phasing out. As long as you do your homework on the specs and configuration before you buy, it's well worth the price. Great help from the BB staff!

I bought this tv for gaming with my PS4. It is awesome. The only drawback is the tv has a slight hum. But I use it primarily with my Sony blutooth headphones which sound great.

Fast delivery, they help me to carry the TV upstairs to my apt. The TV is very good quality and the size just fit my living room. TV is light easy to carry and move around. It has TV stands do not need to hang on the wall which is good for me. I got it from a very good deal just spent 400 to get this. Very worth it.

I purchased this TV for 350 as part of a holiday deal, it is a great starter/budget big screen TV. Picture quality is great, does show glares however. (anti glare screens cost a lot more). Sound quality is ok, considering purchasing a sound bar for this TV. It is not a smart TV, so I purchased a chromecast with it.

I bought two of these MONSTER sized televisions to upgrade my old televisions. What a BIG difference! They are very large and brighten up any room. I get a lot of positive feedback when I have visitors come over. The picture quality is awesome!

It isn't always the sharpest picture, but for the price you can't beat it. This Toshiba is able to keep up with much more expensive tv's for a much smaller price tag. We purchased this set with the intention of replacing it once the cost of 4k versions were less expensive.

Worth the purchase. Definitely delivers in picture quality. Only gave 4 stars because the sound quality is not good. Did read it in reviews before I purchased it. If you connect this tv to a sound bar or other sound system.. works perfect.

We got this TV at a complete deal and love it. The HD is great for us and we feel like we have our own movie theater in our home now. We have a sound bar so I can't speak to the sound, but the image is great and it was easy to install and connect to our other devices.

While not a SmartTV nor a 4K TV, this television is great for the "Kid Cave". The kids love the 55" size. They like their new private "Kid Cave" space to play video games and watch movies streamed through the Wii. All-in-all, a great purchase for everyone in our house.

Bought on special not wanting to shell out big money for smart 4k and was pleasantly surprised! Has good picture and great contrast! Legs do seem a little flimsy but otherwise it's better then what I expected!

I bought the Toshiba 55 inch TV and I love it. It was my first purchase of a big screen TV and I did my homework. It was a great purchase for the price. The sound and picture is great. This TV is great if you are on a tight budget like me.

Hard to beat the price. Easy setup, can't comment on sound quality as I use home theater. Onscreen menus pop up when adjusting external sound, it would be nice to be able to suppress. Picture quality is good enough, but not top of the line. For the price, hard to beat.
