I bought this on sale for the 379.99 and also bought the 5 year geek squad protection plan just in case. After reading some reviews I was concerned about the loud humming noise mentioned in other people's posts. I brought the tv home and opened it up before I gave it to them and checked all the issues the other reviewers had mentioned. I didn't have any problems at all. My parents have been super pleased with this tv.
