bought this tv for a friend's housewarming gift and when we watched movies and football games on it, it is very nice... can't find a deal like anymore (at least of yet)

This is my first large screen TV and have had it now about 11 months. I've had zero problems. My inputs are easy to find and connect and it has a sturdy base. The remote is easy to use.

Lacks the two latest tv advances: 4k and smart features, but my tablet and chtomecast add the latter and I don't see as well as I used to, so this is good for me without spending 3x as much.

I bought this TV for my "Texas Mom". Her TV broke and I know she would not of bought another one for herself. It is a great TV at an awesome price that is simple enough for an elderly person to use with little difficulty.

The off axis viewing is poor and the quality is almost the same as the HD CRT Hitachi it replaced. But it takes up a lot less space and was cheap.

TV works great. Delivery went very well. The guys that delivered the tv were very helpful in setting up and taking old one out.

Good picture worth the money for a big screen tv. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it has a good picture and that's all I need.

The picture quality in an area that has no direct or indirect lighting is astounding. The details are sharp from various angles. The maximum capacity is about 100 people. Our sound installation crew will wall mount this unit in the most ideal location. We will be expanding our viewing from a 30" to the new Toshiba 55". Having led and 1080p resolution is the icing on the cake. I only purchase exciting products from great stores-like Best Buy

TV works to my expectations except there is a loud humming noise from the power supply if the contrast is not set to 100. Saw that on some of the other web sites talking about this TV but it not really a problem as I just set the contrast level to 100 on all the different settings, like movie, sports, etc..

I haven't owned a TV for years. No time to watch. Especially not a TV this huge. Couldn't believe the price. I feel spoiled with it catching up on old shows via Netflix. Picture and sound quality is great. I don't think I need a sound bar although it's been suggested. I figure Toshiba is a good electronics brand. My laptop is also a Toshiba had it 4 years no issues ever. I expect this TV to last me at least 7+ years. Last TV I had was a Polaroid and that had about a 7+ year life.

I recently purchased this tv to replace my 47" tv. And it was the best size for the space and really really good price.

Purchased this TV last year as part of a sale prior to Black Friday. Very happy with this purchase! Haven't had any issues to report. Picture quality is sharp, and after almost one year, haven't had any pixels go out. My only "gripe" is the built-in sound. I have to turn the volume up for low speaking parts, but back down when sounds effects or other parts come back in. Overall, again, I am very happy with this purchase!!

I recently purchased this TV for a tremendous price, I was so glad I made the purchase, after searching 2 stores to find it in stock.

I didn't think I really needed new TVs, but my brother convinced me to replace my 20-year old sets with 21st century HDTV flat-screen units. The 55" Toshiba is perfect for my living room, and the price was much less than I expected! Also, the guys who delivered and installed my new TV and carted away the new one were great!

I purchased this TV for our game room to play Xbox and Wii U games. The picture is awesome and the TV sets up very easy.

Decent product and size for the price purchased. The sound did not sound that great at first, but probably got accustomed to it. The picture is not bad. No real complaints.

This TV was just what we were looking for the entertainment center. Right size Right price.
