This television is great if you are looking for a bargain. I was a little disappointed in the overall quality of the picture.

I had a Toshiba before I bought this one and I like my 8 year old one. My older 46" had some trouble with blacks blending together, this 55" does too, but it also had a hum/buzz when on, regardless of volume or even being paused or on mute... just a constant electric hum. All the time. And the sound quality was exceptionally poor. All of the sounds were muffled. Additionally, the feet, even when the attaching screws were fully sunk in, would juggle, the feet just weren't ever snug. So the dissatisfaction over the blacks and the muffled sound was bad to me, but it was the hum that made me take it back, even though it was just $350. I got a 58" Samsung for $525 instead and it's blacks are fantastic and it sounds great. I wouldn't recommend this 55" Toshiba.

this was an excellent purchase especially for the price, was on sale for 370 at the time, great quality

My daughter was looking for a 55" television to place in her basement. This television was advertised at the right time and for the right price. Great value.

I have resisted buying a TV since 2004. To me if it works, why mess with it! It was becoming increasingly apparent I should be embarrassed that I hadn't shelled out for a flat screen yet, as you cannot even donate the old giant TVs anymore. I'm glad I held out as over the years they've become better quality and much less expensive, so I was able to get this 55" at a fantastic price. Well worth it, the picture is great and I am a very happy movie watcher once again!

I bought this TV and within two days a black line starting running thru the screen. I went out of town for vacation and when I returned I was going to return the TV, but after 14 days without an extra warranty at best buy they will not replace your TV they referred me to the manufacturer and they referred me back to best buy. When I called the store I purchased it from I explained what was occurring and the associate said it sounded like I dropped the TV. LOL, to say the least I was upset and this TV never was dropped unless during shipping I still have the issue and no resolution.

Love this TV. Great value. Picture quality is great as well as sound. It misses some bass, but nothing a decent soundbar couldn't fix.

Picture is excellent for HD viewing. Easy to set up but be sure to purchase a HDMI cable so that you won't have to return to the store. Also, invest in a good power surge protector.

I originally went in looking for a 43 inch TV. This one was a 55 inch for about the same price so I took a chance on it. The picture is very good as are the speakers in my opinion.

I purchase this television for my mother since she is old school and didn't require any smart tv requirements. The picture was clear and she loved it. Would definitely recommend!

We purchased this TV on sale and have not been disappointed. The colors are clear and sharp. Whether we are watching a movie or sporting event the TV has performed very well.

Awesome tv, everything is great I like the fact that it turns off on its own when the Xbox or laptop connected to it aren't on and it's really easy to move from place to place

This TV was on sale for $379! A great price for a 55' HD TV. The picture and sound are great. This set also comes with 3 HDMI ports so you can watch service devices in true HD.

Got the tv as apart of Rooms to Go package. It's clear and shows great color. The price dropped right before I bought. Great value for the TV quality b

TV looks and sounds good. Best video is HD and with the HDMI cable but I'm actually pleasantly surprised with the picture quality. With a trusted name brand, who could go wrong?

Picked up this TV over the holidays and can't say enough about the overall quality of this TV. Sharp picture, better than average sound , and for the price of $349.00 a steal!

I would have liked a bit bigger screen but can't argue with the excellent picture quality of this tv. Best for a room smaller than a living room, perfect for a largish bedroom

Ok so I purchased this tv when on sale and thought wow but with in a week of the warranty expiring the screen has a line down one side and is getting larger otherwise no problem.

I've purchased multiple Toshiba tvs in the past and they just keep getting better. Great picture and on this tv especially the sound is incredible. No need for a soundbar
