Amazing TV, especially for the price. HUGE 55", great picture. Yes you can probably get a better picture (I guess) but spend way more. I watch old 80s movie DVDs on this and am amazed at the picture. The 55" screen is spectacular. Toshiba is a name brand and you can't beat the quality and the price! I would buy it again. The speakers (Dolby) are really good also.

The TV has excellent picture quality. It was easy to set up. We did have some difficulty setting up our sound bar to the TV. So check to see which ones work well with the TV.

If you are looking for a good value, this is it. This TV has decent picture and sound, far better than other 55" TV's available in this price range.

This TV is perfect for a medium sized room, great HD 1080p picture...Can't complain at all, especially for the price. I only paid $350 for this TV.

I've been looking for a flat screen tv for a year to replace my 36 inch tube tv. Before this tv, I never found one as big or as low priced as this one. So far I love it!

I couldn't find much review info about Toshiba TVs online at this price point so was nervous purchasing when it went on sale. But it looked good in the store and was such a bargain I bought it. Well its been a week or so now and it has been really great TV. The sound is good and the picture is good. Also, I like how it looks on the entertainment furniture.

I purchased this tv and after reading the reviews, I felt that it was worth it to take a chance on this tv. I had to do some tinkering with my cable box and tx settings to get that HD picture however after it was done I loved it. The sound isn't great, you will need a sound a bar. Wouldn't recommend without it.

I have been nothing but thrilled since taking my TV out of the box! Simple to set up, simple to use, GREAT picture! I am really hoping this TV will have a long life!

The tv was easy to set up and become acquainted with. It has an excellent picture. This tv is a lot lighter in weight than the plasma flatscreen it replaced which made it easy to hang on the wall with very little help. The only negative issue is the sound quality. Glad I have a good surround sound system. The refresh rate also is a little slow but i don't need the speed of light refresh rate anyway.

I bought this TV as I was looking for a replacement for my insignia 42 inch TV. That TV weighed about 65 pounds( bought in 2011). This TV weighs about 45 pounds. The lightness and the picture quality are on point. I had seen other reviews stating the volume quality was not that great and that a sound bar would be needed. Having told myself I would probably need to buy a sound bar, I had a thought in my mind only to be surprised that the sound quality on the TV isn't all that bad. A pretty good TV overall for the price. A sound bar would be purely optional at this point. It's really not needed.

I bought this HDTV when I saw it on Brad Deals for $350. I ordered it online in the morning and went at lunch time and picked up my 55" HDTV for my early Christmas present. I love the picture quality and size of this HDTV in my living room. I didn't need a smart HDTV since I have cable in my living room. The delivery process went smooth and I was able to load it in the backseat of my Avalon. It wouldn't fit in any smaller of a car. I would suggest delivery if local or use a truck. Best Buy seems to never let me down. Thanks...

this tv its just great, big screen, great resolution and color for a cheap price.

I would buy this HDTV again. It has great color, picture and sound. Very easy to use. Our last TV was a Toshiba as well. Very happy.

I'm very happy with my purchase, picture is clear color is vibrant! HBO and showtime have never looked better!

Got this on Black Friday for $350, tax excluded. Works like a charm, although lots of channels only get 1080i, although that's not the fault of the TV. However, I do noticed that there is a hum with the TV consistently unless you set the brightness up to 100%. This is a known issue with LED TVs but just thought I would mention it. Also takes a while to turn on after the button press. But good TV nonetheless.

If you are just looking for a good sized TV at a good price point this one is for you. No special functions but it does the job.

We bought this tv for my daughter, and she loves it. Great picture and sound. For a big tv this is very easy to lift and it feels like your in a theatre!

Got this TV during Christmas for a great price! Needed a TV for my game room / mancave and this 55" Toshiba was right in my budget! Way more TV than I was expecting at this price! Don't think you could o better! Great picture and no humming sound like a few people stated. I think that problem was addressed and corrected by Toshiba. No problems here....just a great TV for the money!

Problem is sound. Changes from channel to channel, when commercials come on, goes way up or way down. Picture fine, color fine.
