I bought this Toshiba TV open box, but the sales associates and manager guaranteed it was in good condition, and he price was really good for a 55" LED tv. I took the tv home and got it synced with a Sony universal remote. When the tv turned on, it made a audible buzzing sound; the buzzing sound was louder at the back of the television. I read reviews online and many said that it can be the backlight emitting the sound. I tried changing the picture settings (dynamic, movie, standard, pic, gaming), but the buzzing was still there, just slightly higher or lower. I had to turn the volume on the tv up to 35 to drown out the buzzing noise, but even then there were points when the picture on the tv would change and the buzzing became louder. Apparently, many toshiba tv's have this same issue, and the reviews I found responded saying "it's a standard noise for a toshiba tv." Other reviews said it could be a manufacturer error. Even changing the backlight brightness did not get rid of the buzzing noise (I turned it down to 20 and you could barely see the picture, but still buzzing). I don't think I will be buying another toshiba tv any time soon.

The tv was bought because we just moved into a huge home. We put in the tv and everyone can see it from all around the room. It is a perfect picture.

This TV was a great addition to my house. I was able to get it at a very affordable price, good picture and sound. Good buy!

Was looking for a second TV for the home. Didn't need all the bells and whistles - this model seemed the best for the price.

I bought this television for my son, since the 32" was too small. He has enjoyied it while watching movies, sports and playing his PS4. I would recommend this television.

55 inches for 400 dollars was a no brainer for me, toshiba always has great screens in all the products that carry the name.

Great TV at a great price, picture is really clear and has a great refresh rate. Have not encountered any negative issues with this product so far.

We didn't do any research on this tv before purchasing it. I am pleased with it. It has a pretty decent picture quality. The price is fair for the tv.

This tv has excellent picture quality; however, is not a smart tv which was a bummer. The new Toshiba in 55" is a smart tv.

Great TV, Great image and Great sound. I prefer not buying an smart TV yet, because the smart features are really NOT user fruendly in mi opinion.

Bought the TV for my parents it's They just love it. They love the clear picture and also the remote which is not over whelming for senior citizens.

Good starter TV especially for the price point. The only issue is sound, you will want to have some external audio device.

Need a basic big screen tv? This has a good picture but mediocre sound. Make sure you have a surround system or sound bar.

I needed a new TV and I checked out some deals online. I expected to pay more than I did, it's no Sony but at the price, the quality is unbeatable.

Looking for an affordable tv without sacrificing too much on size and picture quality and Toshiba definately delivers.

Solid BIG screen TV... I have it in my living room and it's real nice. Good picture for the price!!! Would buy again...

Couldn't be happier with this tv. Can't beat the price and was very easy to setup and use. Would recommend to anyone looking for this size tv.

Picture aspect disappointing.can't get 16:9 .stuck with 4:3 for decent picture but it doesnt use the whole potential of screen.don, t know what I'm doing wrong.

It is a good product for what I paid. Good quality. Light weight. No my favorite tv, but I like it. It does its job.

This is our 3rd Toshiba TV. We love the picture and sound. We don't use a sound bar. I love that it is thin and doesn't take up any room.
