I love the size and picture quality (HD) of the TV .

For the price this TV can't be beat. I can't tell the difference in picture quality between this TV and one that costs 2 or 3 times as much. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I had to purchase a nice sound bar for better sound quality. Not that the built in speakers are poor quality but I like to have big sound when watching movies and sports. I would definitely buy this TV again.

I've had this Tv for a little over a year and it looks, sounds and works as good as it did the day I bought it. Everytime my friends & family come to my house they are always talking about how clear the picture is and how big my tv is! It's not to big and it's not to small; it's a perfect size and the HD screen looks amazing & the sound is clear and crisp. This TV cost me $150 since I had a gift card from a phone I had bought and it was on sale for $350 at the time from the normal $550. It has GREAT picture. The sound gets rough at bassy scenes, but is very loud and the surround is very good. I have DirecTV (1080i) and it looks great, blue ray falls nothing short of the other 55" Samsung, 40" Sony and a 32" Samsung that I have.

i just love this tv great great great picture and it is light and very easy to use i would buy this tv again and again --- buy it you won't be sorry

Got a great deal on this tv as I got it on sale and had cashed some reward points to get it. Picture looks great to me, especially animated blu-rays. Slight buzzing as others have mentioned, but only notice when tv is on with no picture. Not enough to be bothersome though. Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because there are better tvs out there, but for the price I paid you cant beat it.

Great tv for the price. Has a nice picture! The sound quality is good, but could be better. I would definitely recommend for the $350 price tag.

If you're not into really big TV sizes but are tired of 32"-37" this is a great size. The screen quality is great and the price was even better.

This tv is great it's huge and the picture looks great but sometimes the remote takes a few times before the tv responds

After mixed reviews, I hesitated to buy. But price and Best Buy and Toshiba reputation turned the tide. Excellent HD picture and sound (for a TV). Flat black screen reduces glare and provides for better than most LCD off-center viewing. I may have gotten lucky, but so far (6 weeks) I am very glad I bought it.

This TV was bought as an upgrade for the living room TV, and it has not been a disappointment. At a sub $400 price point this is a big, thin screen made by a quality manufacturer. There are some issues with picture quality as you view the TV at an angle, but that is to be expected given the technology. Sound quality has not been tested because we use a separate sound system. All in all, this has been a very good purchase with no complaints now or in the foreseeable future.

No complaints, picture is good, everything works fine. For a 55" tv, the price was hard to beat.

For the price ($350) this tv is a great deal, and still a great deal at a higher price. If you want a 1080p tv that looks good, but this.

the tv was just want i needed! it is huge and fits in perfectly with my tv space. the quality is sharp and clear and the audio is clear.

Prices for 1080p 55 inch TVs keep on dropping but this was too good of a deal to pass up. I thought it would be bulk and heavy but it was really thin and light. Of course the image is not the sharpest but at this price, you really can't complain. I wish the stand was a bit more sturdy but it does the job. If you have kids, I would secure it. But then again, these are so light that even if they fall, they may not cause as much injury as heavier TVs.

I've had this TV for a month now and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. It's big, it has a great picture, setup was easy, picture was great out of the box, Sound is good with out a sound bar.Sure there are better TVs out there, but not for the price of this one.At this price it's awesome.

The tv is great. The only problem I had is not with the tv. It was with the 800 number for store pick up. I bought from a store in Texas as a gift from online. I put my brothers name to be the pick up person since I'm states away. Then I needed to change the name on the pick up called the store in Texas. They said sure, just call our 800 number they can get that changed for you no problem. So I call them and the guy that answered said he couldn't change the name I said but an employee at the store said I could. So I asked to speak to the manager. He put me on hold and then came back and said due to the holidays my manager said that you can cancel the order and repurchase the order with the correct name. I said let me speake to your manager because they clearly stated I could change it. He then put me on hold for 30 minutes I waited. My coworker called on the other phone as she sat beside the local store in Texas explained what was going on and how long he had me on hold. The young lady said I'm sorry that, that is happening she then went to speake to her manager and explained the citation. The manager said " I apologize for that. They can change the name and not sure why they wouldn't. So the manager at the local store in Rosenberg Texas changed the name for me. While the whole time I was still waiting on the manger from the 800 number to get on the phone. I felt that was very poor customer service of them. So much thanks to the Rosenberg Best Buy Team!!!

Easy setup right out of the box. The he sound is great & cc is very useful. The remote control is standard nothing exciting.
