I'm so happy with my new flat screen and so glad I waited so long to make sure that I got the best one recommend by my sales associate at Best Buy! Hopefully it will be the last one I have to purchase in life, it's literally an item that was on my bucket list!

I purchased this Toshiba TV on 1/29/2016 at what I thought was a great price for the screen size. I noticed right away the picture quality is not that great but, for the price and not being a high end TV it's decent. Flash forward to today 4/2/2016 the TV will show a picture for 15/20 minutes then goes black.Turning off the TV and even unplugging and doing a power cycle to reset did not help. After calling Toshiba and being on hold with Geek Squad (for 1 hour)to schedule an in home repair visit, I get hung up on. Toshiba called me back saying to call them back on Monday. What a joke! Spend the extra money if you can and buy any other brand but Toshiba.

This purchase was an impulse buy. Wished I would have realized it was not a smart tv like our last. Overall it's has nice picture quality and the size we were looking for.

Bought this on sale & it's perfect for the bedroom. Built in speakers aren't the best so I bought a soundbar & subwoofer.

Great price and a great TV in general. The only thing I wish it had was a adjustable setting for HDMI Black. We purchased a sound bar with the TV and have used it only, so I cannot comment on sound quality.

TV failed within 6 months. Technicians inspected the TV and claimed they would replace it since they couldn't fix it. The day came, and Toshiba never showed up with a replacement. Called, and they start explaining that they can't replace the TV, but they could give me credit for the current value of the TV (not the purchase price) -- so if it has devalued since, I would only receive credit for the current value of the TV. Argued a little, and the rep simply hung up on me. Great product, and great service. Would definitely consider Toshiba again for my next purchase...

We were half halfheartedly looking to upgrade our 32" TV recently, waiting for sales. Found this Toshiba for a terrific price and decided to get it. Really impressed with the resolution and features for the price we got it for.

The purchase was not well planned out, I went to Best Buy and the sales professional was awesome. He answered all my questions and sold me the TV that best fit my need.

TV picture is good, sound quality is ok. The problem is the hdmi ports go bad. Once that happens you can't connect to the cable or anything.

Intrigued by the price and size but when we took it home, we were not intrigued by the picture. In fact, we ended up trading it in for a 50" Sony with a much better picture.

We were needing a tv for the living room and this one was a good deal. I wish we would've splurged on one with a little clearer picture, but overall, I can't complain!

My sole complaint is the constant buzz emitted by the TV. I've read that some other folks have experienced this, and to correct it, you have to change your backlighting setting to 100 (which is the maximum). That solved the buzzing, but ruined the picture. Returned it and bought an LG.

Just average tv for the price. Did not like the picture quality

This is a average HDTV (1080p resolution). Colors are fine. Black leve could be a bit darker. But for a 55inch HDTV, you can't go wrong with this price tag.

I owned a 50" Toshiba LED HDTV with much success. With that in mind, I jumped on the opportunity to purchase a 55" Toshiba during Black Friday to replace my old unit. To my surprise, the unit was bad out of the box. There was a terrible buzzing sound when powered on. I had to return the unit to Best Buy and ended up purchasing a Sharp unit due to the inability to order a replacement unit.

I saw the TV In a advertisement and knew Toshiba was a great brand, I went Specifically to Best Buy for it, a sales rep rolled it out for me and put it in my car without me even asking.

on time delivery and good product. the delivery guy brought the TV and installed in my Apartment. He was so nice and professorial. Cheap price and excellent condition~! I love it.

Picture quality ~ regresh rate is not at par and before buying this product one need to compromise on sound and picture clarity on contrary saving some $$.

I wasn't big o this large of a tv in our room. The sale was great and for the price we couldn't beat eat. We enjoy having a quiet movie night every now and then on the bedroom!!

Tv was a great value before the Screen malfunctioned. Hopefully I just had the bad apple out of the batch but my luck with this product was poor.
