Love this television perfect for my Amazon Fire ..

Colors looked good, but dark scenes and shadows are terrible. Pixels are visible and motion with dark scenes is awful. My 12 year old plasma has a better picture. Returning.

I purchased this TV because of the great price for the size. I have this TV in my game room where it is viewed anywhere from 3 to 20ft away. I was concerned about the 60hz refresh rate because this TV is mainly used for watching sports. So far the TV has been great! Solid picture and it has no problem keeping up with fast action from sports. I have not had any issues with humming noises that other reviews have mentioned. The sounds quality is good but the volume could be louder for my application. This could also be fixed with a sound bar in the future. Overall a great purchase especially for the price.

Bought it on sale on Black Friday... took it home... set it up... lots of pixalation... little squares all over the screen... took it back... bought me a Vizio... No problems since.

Went to put the tv on the wall guess I touch the panel to hard no creak on glass went to turn tv on half was white solid lines Best Buy would not stand behind only had two weeks bought an lg no issue

Serious problems recognizing HF signal. Will not transmit sound upon turning on. It's inexpensive for a reason. An utter disgrace from Toshiba.

TV product was good, but issues with receive my money back on card after I cancelled my first TV order and till this day I still haven't received my $400 from the previous purchase.

Toshiba is never going to win TV of the year award (especially since the brand name in the US was sold off at the end of 2014/beginning of 2015 and is no longer even Toshiba manufactured), but this unit makes for an inexpensive, nice entry in the entry level brand name arena. The sound on virtually any modern TV is going to sound poor. They aren't designed to blow your hair back. The bass adjustment did nothing to my ability to detect more rumble in effects. The picture quality is rather nice. Again not as good as competitor brand, but far from junk. I experienced none of the humming/buzz that other owners reported. Sometimes TVs require a bit of a break in period to work the kinks out, but either way it was not a problem for me. Picked this one out for a friend on a budget and simply wanted something BIG and shiny. The Toshiba shines through adequately. There are plenty of picture adjustments to be found, actually more so than I anticipated, so tweak away friends. I am listing my settings below. They seem to hit the spot for my eyes and hopefully the lady who owns the TV as well. Note: Tv is located in a dark room that has light control. Brighter rooms may require adjustments. Purchased the tv on sale works great, only just wish the resolution was 1080/120 but overall a decent tv for the price and size. I am happy

Worst picture I have seen from a LED TV, Cheap TV,,, Buy a Sony or LG or Samsung... DO not buy any other TV...You get what you paid for..

Had two of these tv within ten days. First tv was warped and had light leakage the second one had no sound on several channels. Very poor tv.

The picture is real blurring, the volume is weak I just hate this purchsse and the help line doesn't assist at all. I'm stuck with this.

Great tv for price. If all you need is a plain vanilla tv this is it. Got it for $350. I really can't complain at this price. I also have a 55 in LG LM 6700 that I bought 3 years ago for 1400. I think they look pretty similar the Toshiba might look less sharp but at price. Dose it really matter. I'll be happy if it last 5 years. Very good deal. This is the first time I review a product from Best Buy I did it because the first reviewer gave it 1 star don't know what he was expecting at this price point.

THI TV FOR MY IS SOMETHING RONG MAKE TO MUCH NOISE AND THE SCREM IS NOT LOOK CLEAR. MAYBE A I GOIN TA DEVOLUTION

Blacks did not blend!! Very grainy picture even with the best antenna! Returned 2 days later! You where warned..

Do not buy. We had to return the next day. The staff said they would never have bought it and suggested the lg.

Did expect much for the price but this TV definitely delivered. Great picture and sound. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because out of the box the settings cause a weird buzzing sound to come out of the TV. If you set the back light to 98-99 the sound fades and at 100 it goes away completely. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase.

All TV's are good now days, this TV is nothing outstanding, but for just watching broadcast TV it is fine.

I recently purchased this Toshiba television recently. It was the 55 inch on sale during Black Friday online. I am so glad I purchased this TV after many reviews and searching for research online I decided on this. I was skeptical at first due to the entry price for what you get I could not be happier. I have owned many different types of TVs, panasonic, sony, sharp, toshiba, samsung and LG. This was my first purchase from Toshiba at the size level. Could not be happier. TVs was purchased for my family living room area primarly for general viewing of daily TV, sports and gaming for the kids(Wi). Colors are wonderful, along with good angle perspective. After reading other reviews, I did not experience many of the complaints of other reviewers, such as the humming noise, poor angle viewing, ect. I have tested this TV for duration of 8 hours per day for a week, with flawless performance. I run good HDMI cable and and proper cable lines without issues. I can view at the sides approx 50 degree without issues, then picture breaks up a bit. The sound audio from the TV is not the best, but you know this when you buy the TV. The description of the sound it very well described in the description of the TV. Very few TVs have excellent sound if you what to feel like your in a movie theater purchase a sound bar with subwoofer. One concern of interest. When I unboxed the TV, I noticed BEST BUY listed on the back sticker of TV. Not sure if this is a conglomerate process with BEST BUY and Toshiba, but a still happy none the less. Also, when you read the back of TV the description states LCD, I thought I was purchasing an LED TV, so I call BEST BUY to inquire. I was told that all LED TVs are really LCD technology with Light Emitting Diode Technology which is was the TVs displays and the LCD is the screen itself. I am not a television expert, but will continue to educate myself on this. Overall, after one week, I am very pleased with the performance of this TV for the money. It was $349.00 on sale and is normally $479/529(regular price). There are very few good TVs in this price range, especially a 55 inch. I highly recommend. Take a chance on this one, you will be happy you did
