Not-so-great Picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace my aging 46" Samsung LED. I need additional HDMI inputs for all of the gadgets. The picture was fuzzy, the blacks were not dark enough. I took it back the same day and am sticking with my Samsung for the foreseeable future. Pros - HDMI inputs Cons - Picture clarity, colors, and blacks

Great Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The price was great but the picture was not. I originally went to purchase the Sharp but they had none in stock. This model was recommended by the sales team but after 1 day we realized the picture quality was sub par. I returned it and bought the the sharp 55 inch from Best Buy online. That was a wise move.

The Coaxial (Antenna) Port Will Come Off...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned this television for 5 months now and already the coaxial (antenna) cable port came completely off of the television. I can no longer connect a cable cord, antenna or anything. It was poorly secured in the design and manufacturing process. I guess you get what you pay for...

Good Budget TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good: 1) Price - $350 2) Picture (out of the box) - better than my 5-year old tuned Toshiba 3) Light, small bezel, mate screen 4) Enough connectors (HDMI, ....) 5) "Dumb" - I bought a new Chromecast, which will make it "smart" Mediocre: 1) Sound - it is a bit better than old TV has, but speakers also produce buzzing/bumming noise when some music playing (strangely mostly public TV channels). Works fine with audio system. 2) remote - small, small all black buttons - I use the remote from my old TV, which works fine with this one. Not so good: 1) no paper manual with TV (found one online) 2) recall previous channel sometimes doesn't work

great price, poor quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv hums loudly and has a B- picture. However, the kids like it for xbox, price was ok but, listen to it before you try it Worst Buy only gives 14 days to take it back even though it was really not very satisfactory and I would have liked to trade it for better one.

Excellent TV - Good Value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Paid less than $400 for this 55" TV. Included in the price was setup on my console and hookup. Delivery guys were great. Made sure my TV worked before leaving. I use this TV exclusively with my Roku and Sling from my home to this location. (summer home) Picture was crisp, clear, and the colors were spot on. No haze, fuzz, or blur. Brightness and contrast needed a little tweaking to my taste. I would stack this TV up against Sony, Samsung, and LG. This TV is as good if not better than any of them and you will save at least $350. I highly recommend this TV.

I would give zero stars if I could
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV was broken the moment I first plugged it in. This loud buzzing noise comes from the TV, I've tried everything, had them rewrite my outlet, bought a UPS still a loud obnoxious buzzing. Since I am an Elite Plus rewards memeber, I took the unit in for replacement - shocker the online order system and/or the cashier DIDNT PUT MY REWARDS CARD NUMBER IN. So I was unable to return the unit. The reps response - call the manufacturer. Who wants me to ship the unit at a 200 shipping cost. Seriously Best Buy - SERIOUSLY?!

Solid 55in 1080p "non-smart" TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking at 48" TVs in the sub $300s, but really wanted something a bit bigger. However most 55" TVs were over $500. That's until this guy showed up in the Black Friday ad for $350. I went for it, hoping it was good quality, and choosing to avoid the Black Friday hassle. The cheapest 55" TVs Bestbuy has are a Westinghouse for $400, and an Insignia for $470. Westinghouse uses the cheapest panels known to man, and don't even display full white (whites are actually tan). So this thing being $350 is a great deal, but it did make me nervous. I'm glad I bought it though. This isn't anything special, but it's solid. Picture is clear, nothing fancy but nothing keeping it back either. Bright whites, dark blacks, decent colors. Sound is not great, but still alright. I expected there to be a catch to this TV's price but I can't really find one. If you're like me and don't need "smart" features, and just want a good TV with clear picture at a great price, this is it. Simple and to the point. Would buy again. I also did not experience the "humming" sound others report.

Decent TV after settings adjustment
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I almost returned this TV as I wasn't happy with the picture. I followed the settings other people listed, but they weren't working for me. So after spending two days experimenting and adjusting the settings, I finally got the picture I wanted. I am going to share what I finally came up with, maybe it will help someone else. I am very pleased now, as my picture is beautiful. I would have given another star if it came with a better remote. Picture: Standard Backlight: 60 Contrast: 70 Brightness: - 6 Color: 2 Tint: 0 Sharpness: + 9 In Advanced Settings: Color Master: Off Color Temp: Medium Static Gamma 0 Dynalight: Low Dynamic Contrast: Middle Cinema Mode: On Noise Reduction, MPEG, DNR both on Middle Edge Enhancer: On

Low picture quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No matter how I have tried to adjust the settings, the picture is so dark you can not watch a movie on it, only good for watching cartoons with the kids because of all the bright colors
