Outstanding picture quality with 1080i source; pretty good at 720P, poor @ 480i. Setup was easiest I've ever experienced. Straightforward menu with lots of options. Sound quality very good for a TV in this class for small to medium sized room (would use external audio for room bigger than 20' x 20' ) Bought for under $400 ; equal to many $700-$900 sets

this is a great tv for the money.we had no problem setting it up.nice picture very easy to use.

Have been delaying to purchase until we find an absolute deal, which best buy offered as a pre black Friday deal! Best deal we found that we got two of them! Picture quality is great, but there seams to be a slight humm when it's on. Would be perfect if it weren't for that. But every one else in the family absolutely love's it! Can't beat it's deal!

This is a great, large TV for a small apartment when you don't need 4K or a high MHz refresh rate.

The TV is a great deal for the size and quality. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a larger tv.

I got this tv on a black friday sale for $350.00 and I am very pleased with it. While it isn't a smart TV, it has a nice picture and good sound. The first one they delivered didn't turn on, which made me nervous, but they took that one back immediately and delivered one that has been working great since. I'm happy with it!

If you're not looking to purchase a smart TV then this is an excellent choice. Even without a sound box, the surround sound on this TV is excellent. There are times I have had to mute the sound to see if the background noise was coming from outside my house and surprisingly it was the TV. The clarity and separation of sound from the main characters and background noise is fantastic.

Bought this on sale for a conference room second monitor. 1080p LED from a reputable brand for under $400. What else do you need to know? No SmartTV, not as many input options, only 60Hz so don't use it to watch sports. But for a high res display for PowerPoint, Skype and Prezi in a conference room. FOR UNDER $400!

Went into Best Buy to get a specific DVD and saw a pallet of these Toshiba 55" TVs with a sign showing an Early Black Friday special. I couldn't believe the low price. I bought it on the spur of the moment and the box barely fit into the back seat of my large car. I opened the box and plugged in the HDMI from my cable box and moments later was watching a great picture. Although it isn't a Smart TV, I didn't need a Smart TV. No problems at all and am quite pleased.

Ordered my Toshiba TV online. It was delivered on time, as promised and installed by knowledgeable technicians who were very courteous. I really enjoy watching my new TV. The picture is crisp and clear. The sound is great. Getting my TV on sale was another added bonus. I will definitely shop Best Buy again.

This is an excellent T.V. for the money. It was less than $500 in the Black Friday sale and so far we are very pleased with it. There are a variety of picture modes so cable and blu-rays look great and the DTS sound is much better than I expected it to be. It has a solid presentation; not "tinny" like some budget televisions. Right now I can't think of anything negative to say about it. A bargain!

I certainly didn't need another TV, but passing up a great value just isn't in my DNA. Picture quality is very good. Speakers are adequate for a medium size room. Tv's a bit thick at 3.6", but as a table TV, it's perfect. The feet are pleasantly unobtrusive and stable. Hooked up to a wireless Genie, it looks about as good as any basic 55" 1080p/60hz I've seen. I am perfectly satisfied with this purchase and if I had another room, I'd buy it again.

Nice picture and easy to set up. Has a stand so you don't have to use a wall mount.

Tv was well worth the price coler is beautiful. I love it. We had the tv delivered and the old tv removed, the guys who delivered and picked up tv were great. My elderly mom was at home, the were friendly and professional... Set up new tv and removed old tv without a problem. Thank you guys for a job well done.

For the size an brand this was a bargain. Picture and sound are good.
