This is a basic TV that gives you a huge bang for your buck. Was able to get it while on sale and was a great purchase. Works perfectly.

I'm a photographer and bought this tv for displaying images in studio. After a LOT of research I found this one and am very happy with the color control and ease of use.

Bought this tv and immediately it started humming. Picture is great but it constantly hums even with volume turned off. Changed backlight and it still hums. Constant buzzing you can hear through the house. Returning today

Brought this on the Black Friday presale and was even able to use a 10percent off coupon on top of that. Once home as soon as I turned it on there was a loud hum/buzz noise. It gets to the point your almost listening for it. Bugs the heck out of me, returning it today very disappointed, cheap yes but I don't think it's to much to ask for a tv to only push out the sound from the content your watching.

Fresh out of box and installed from Best Buy delivery the TV was "a buzz" as soon as it was turned on. Just like similar complaints on reviews. Delivery people also surprised and took note of the situation. The plans is to try one more of these TV, but it is obviously a problem for Toshiba and this TV.

I purchased this TV 17 days ago and was just watching it when two lines popped up. Blown pixels I guess but no reason for them. Will be returning tomorrow as they are now closed.

I know I shouldn't complain anything about it for such low price,but it's too bad: 1、input lags too much 2、color never looks correct to me 3、the speaker can't be considered as "OK", but that could be fixed by extra speakers 4、due to cheap va plane , viewing angle is too poor,for a large tv this is really bad don't waste your time , help yourself , go buy a vizio or samsung instead , I am going to return it when I have time

They set it up because it was a 55" TV and even hauled away a huge RGB 32" TV that was very heavy. The TV works great and has a clear picture.

Great picture, some dead pixels, but covered under warranty! I seen this TV on sale for 399.00, what a steal! Great TV, but my local BestBuy did not have one in stock. So I went to our local BestBuy, and there it was on the shelf, but not in stock in the store. So I requested to get it at the sale price, and the local store would not honor the promotion price! (their promotion price) So I had to call BestBuy and order the TV online and go in the store to pick it up. Thanks to Corey, they were able to add it to stock in the store, and I was able to pick it up that day. Beautiful TV, but a couple months later it had some dead pixels, since I didn't purchase the Geek Squad coverage, I had to contact the manufacturer. Well since it was larger than 42" they transferred me back to BestBuy for the warranty. I had to take a couple pictures, and they gave me a order confirmation # for replacement. The agent I spoke with on the phone said to take the TV to BestBuy and they would assist with a replacement, as long as I provide them with the confirmation #. So i did just that, and the reps at BestBuy had no idea what to do with the # I was provided. After 2 hours of the reps working with the exchange, they were able to get the TV exchanged. But it had to be delivered at this point. So BestBuy wanted to charge an additional 75.00 for a delivery fee. I told them I wasn't going to pay this, it was covered under the warranty, and I would be happy to pick it up. They said that this was my only option, and if I didn't want to pay the 75.00 I was told to just take my TV home and deal with it. Of course this made me really happy with the Service provided, and I was just about to lose my mind. Then Corey spoke with an assistant manager and was able to waive the delivery fee, which should have been done in the first place. I will never buy another TV from BestBuy again. Thanks for the disappointing Service BestBuy!!!

As others have noted, the TV has a loud electronic hum when powered on. I discovered that changing the picture settings to "Dynamic", eliminates the humming, but switching back to 'Standard", "PC" or other settings makes it return. This was an 'Open Box" item that was supposedly Geek Squad certified. Obviously they didn't bother to power it on when they certified it or they would have immediately noticed the very loud humming. Packing it up and returning it tomorrow.

I've had this since it was first available in December. This TV has very nice color and black levels. The only issue is a degree of image retention during particularly fast motion. I will likely purchase another of these for my parents during my next visit.

The picture quality is not as great as my Samsung smart TV, but it does the job and have no issues with it. I was a bit hesitant to buy due to the sound issues I've read, but I haven't noticed any buzzing sound.

Picked up to replace my 7 year old DLP. Picture is horrible, the old DLP is much better even with a bad processor on it.. You can't see anything clearly and the lines are completely pixilated. I didn't expect the best picture in the world but after watching for 1 hour I couldn't take it anymore and boxed it back up. Don't waste your time on this junk TV

This is a very nice TV for the money! We are all enjoying watching it!
