Noticed the blacks get very grey as you increase viewing angles from the side. Was going to write that off as the TV was very inexpensive during a sale before BF. Noticed excessive humming coming from the TV the next day and it is not going away. Sad as this looked to be a great TV for our arcade area.

It looks cheap and its price should be cheaper too, because when I'm using it on 1080p screen tears up sometimes and its really annoying while watching some movies and tv shows. I think I dont recommend this one

As some others have mentioned, there is a very loud HUMMMMM that comes from the TV. The noise gets louder or softer based what is on the screen, but it is always there. White screens seam to make it worse. I hope I just got a "bad one" and my exchange unit works better.

Very fuzzy....looks like tv from the '80s and definitely NOT HD. Disappointed after waiting in lines and everything else to get this! Tried calling Toshiba cust/technical support but couldn't understand them due to poor sound quality and finally hung up. Don't know if worth trying to exchange (maybe just a bad apple) or go for different brand, but am definitely returning this.

The picture on the TV is terrible it looks washed out and you can not see anything the lines are totally pixilated. My 15 year old Toshiba big screen has a better picture. Bringing the unit back to Best Buy will update trying another unit.

The TV has a loud humming noise--we can hear the noise even about 10 ft away from the TV! We just found out that a lot of people experience this issue. You can only get rid of the noise by setting the backlight to the max of 100, which is too bright. We are planning to return it.

Although the vast majority of reviews for this product are very positive, as the star ratings show, I do see that three reviews do mention a humming sound so am escalating these reports for review by product management.
I hope that you'll replace your unit with the same model since it apparently has a feature set that was attractive to you.

Got it home and unpacked/installed. Played for 3 hours without problems, then poof! It turned off by itself and now wont power back on. Will return ASAP

The isn't great either I find that I have to turn it up higher than I'd like because voices sound muffled. Had I been able to see this product in the store before buying (it was not on display) I would not have purchased. I bought because of the price. I should have waited and brought one that was better quality.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the channel return doesn't work.The tv changes back to what ever channel it wants to.I called Toshiba they told me to rescan channels.Didn't work.Every time I change the channel I have to resize picture.The Spectre tv I had before,kept picture size.From Walmart.If I channel surf this is very annoying.If I could afford a new tv,I would throw this one in the trash.Were it belongs!!

They don't honor manufacturer warranties and the people at their call center do not speak English so they can not communicate when you call. Loved the tv for the first 3 months. Buyer beware.

Horrible picture quality and it already has a dead pixel and it's Pink-----so it's very noticeable purchased online and only 15 day warranty stick with Walmart you'll have better luck
