So far so good - I mounted this up above a fireplace about a month ago and we've had no issues whatsoever. The TV is very lightweight and has a very nice picture for the price point. FWIW, I wasn't going for a high end, 120 motion rate, blow me away TV with the impeccable dark colors and five star CNET ratings. This TV is set up in a lightly used room, and my criteria was affordable, simple to use, built-in Fire TV platform, and one remote. This TV easily checks all those boxes and pairs great with the Sonos Playbar below it. The picture is just fine, connectivity to our network is fast, and the user interface is well known in our house considering we use other Fire TV devices. Outside of the 15 or so years of brand loyalty to Samsung, I got my daughter an Insignia 32" Fire TV a couple years back and it's been great. Because of that, I didn't really have any hesitation with trying out Toshiba's Fire TV. We're happy with this purchase and I would recommend this TV.

This is the second toshiba fire tv that i have purchased i really love the picture quality and the smooth slick design it looks expensive but it is very affordable very easy to set up and navigate great purchase

Great picture and sound. Easy to use and set up. Sound clarity is much better than others I have had. This is huge for me as I have a hearing loss.

This is my second Toshiba Fire TV, bought it on sale, nice tv and very nice pictures. Lots of apps to download, overall a good buy and the price is right.

Great Tv and price. A little bigger than I thought. Fits perfectly in the gym though. Sound quality is great, picture quality is great, everything about this tv is awesome.

I love my new Toshiba 55'' Smart TV! The definition is amazing, the quality is 5 stars. I love watching movies and shows now. It was so easy to connect my Alexa and all my streaming channels. Love it!

Love this tv. Great picture and sound. No sound bar is needed. The remote is compatible with Alexa voice control. Easy to use for a 60 year old person who is not a techy.

Very good picture quality and sound. I'm not a gamer so I don't need the OLED or QLED version. I love the size and it's great for watching sports. Good value! I love that it is a Fire TV also, so it has all of the streaming apps I use, more than a Roku tv or a Samsung Tizen.

I put this TV on the mantle over my fireplace. It has a clear picture from all over the room. Works well, was easy to connect other technology to, and was a great value for the cost.

This is our 2nd Toshiba 55". We loved the 1st one so much we chose to get another for another room. The picture quality is wonderful. The apps are easy to install & update. Very happy with purchase.

I love the quality of this tv. Its easy to set up, simple to navigate. Thrre are several preset streaming channels, just input your user name and pw and youre good to go.

I enjoy the price and value of this Toshiba 55 Inch 4K TV so much that I purchased two of them! Clear and Vivid Color on a generous 55 inch screen.

Great TV. 55" for about $295 is amazing. The picture quality is amazing for what you pay for. Sure, it is not OLED quality and side by side maybe the difference is there, but the price is also different side by side. On its own, it stands out amazing. I watched Citadel on Amazon and it was terrific. The calibration out of the box is on the bright side so you need to turn down the Backlight, Brightness and Contrast. There's 4 HDMIs which is probably the only TV that has it among all I saw which is a plus. It has optical out, antenna, USB and Ethernet and the built in FireTV is a huge plus for someone with Alexa presence. Overall I am glad I bought this TV.

Amazing sound and picture quality. There is no lag while watching 4K videos. Lately have noticed some lag on some apps (some sports channel) but it's only related to those specific apps. The set up is very intuitive and easy.

Its a really good TV. I have slight issues with the HDMI inputs seitching over randomly, but I think it may be an external device issue rather than the tv. Overall its a great tv for a great price!
