    Bought in Oct 2022. Worked fine until 09/11/23....didn't even make it a year and the screen's gone black.

    Sound went out first month. Tried to call best buy several times (15) and on hold for more than 30 minutes each time. They refused to trade out so I am stuck with a faulty tv.

    I only gave this tv a 1 because they didnt have a 0 i had 2 of them they both only lasted 2 years they dont hold much on the built in fire stick so that sucks the sound sucked both tvs went black then no sound what a waste of money just bought some without the fire sticks bult in and better sound toshiba brand is no good

    Not a good TV, Do not recommend. Price was Ok on sale, Color is Ok, features are not good, Amazon account required for update and proper function.

    Tried to set up TV and found that it had a damaged screen. Returned to local Best Buy and traded it in for another Smart Fire TV available at that location.

    TV freezes constantly, when trying to tuen it on i have to unplug and plug it back up for it to work correctly.

    It malfunctioned within the warranty period and had no issue getting a replacement through best buy

    Goes into sleep power saving mode after like 5 minutes of inactivity... VERY annoying. Pause a movie to answer the phone? Your TV will turn off before you get back. No setting to change this behavior. Defaults to the horrible "tru-motion" emulating 60 FPS that is very offputting, with no way to globally turn it off. Recent "update" broke audio passthrough from some media apps. Interface is laggy. My first ever TV that I hate. Will never buy toshiba again.

      Thanks for the feedback. Could you please try to fix these issues by below actions?



      1. Goes into sleep power saving mode after like 5 minutes of inactivity... VERY annoying. Pause a movie to answer the phone? Your TV will turn off before you get back. No setting to change this behavior.

      ==> Go to Settings->Display & Sounds->Screensaver->Start time default is 5 mins, it can change to other options(10/15mins/Never).



      2. Defaults to the horrible "tru-motion" emulating 60 FPS that is very offputting, with no way to globally turn it off.

      ==> Go to Settings->Display & Sounds->Picture Settings->based on your source ->Advanced Settings->Motion Processing Turn to OFF.​



      3. Recent "update" broke audio passthrough from some media apps. Interface is laggy. My first ever TV that I hate. Will never buy Toshiba again.

      ==> Go to Settings->Display & Sounds->Picture Settings->audio output->Digital audio format->default is Auto, it can focus on passthrough.

    Disappointed! Steer clear form this tv. Picture is not clear and grainy at best. I got this to upgrade (size) from a Samsung 50 inch in my living room and moved the Samsung to the bedroom. As it turns out, I’m watching tv in the bedroom more. Defeats the purpose. Today I noticed, lines at the top of the screen. I changed the channel and they didn’t disappear. I turned it off and on and they disappeared. We’ve had this tv for 3 days and I’m returning it ASAP.

    I bought this tv in September. About a month ago it started having a line across the screen and rolling down the screen. Now the sound cuts in and out. I would not purchase this tv again. Doesn’t last long. Going to try to return it to the store.

    Terrible product, returned first one do to picture problems. The second one isn’t any better plus half the apps that come with it do not even work, I’ve had many tvs and this by far is the worst. Only reason I gave it 1 star is because it comes with built in fire stick
