60 he refresh rate causes jerky motion. Awesome for blue ray

Chrome cast didnt work at first. Still works off and on. My tv freezes alot.

i can see why this TV was discontinued. The black background on the TV was poor, and the backlighting was way off. There were white "spots" on the TV when there was no picture.

Link to wifi network drops frequently. Without the in-built chromecast feature, this tv is an ordinary tv. Having said that, the chromecast feature is a let down.

Great picture quality but I was expecting more rear connections. Has 3HDMI inputs but no YRBG connections.

The set may not be perfect, but it's really great for the price. We got a black Friday special that I couldn't turn down. Toshiba isn't the name in electronics it once was, but I was happy to see they still make a good product. The picture is just terrific and so life like, upgrading from 1080p to 4k really made a difference - I realize there is little 4k content out there and the TV is upgrading standard HD to resemble 4k, but it sure does a good job of it. I really like the Chromecast, I've been streaming YouTube on the TV and it works great. Xfinity already has Netflix available so I don't need Chromecast for that. Amazon isn't currently available, so I just stream that through my BluRay player. I guess it's not a full fledged Smart TV, but it works very well and streaming YouTube is all I need it to do now, based on my cable subscription. The remote is pretty basic, but it does all I need it to since I use the excellent Xfinity X1 remote for most things. The X1 Remote paired very easily with the new TV in seconds. Upgrading standard (non HD) programming isn't as good as HDTV as sometimes the set seems to lag when refreshing it, although it does attempt to fix the ratio and clarify the picture and does a respectable job of it. The sound is pretty average, although another reviewer recommended some setting changes that improve it. I hooked up an inexpensive sound bar that made the sound richer and louder and am perfectly happy with that. Initially the set had some quirks, it turned itself off once and the audio turned itself on at 5am three days in a week. Those things seem to have worked themselves out though. The stand is a little cumbersome and hangs over our shelf a little bit, but it hasn't actually been a problem. There is very little border around the screen, which is nice and compact for such a large TV. It has 3 HDMI connections as well as component and USB and what not. Overall, I'm very happy with this TV and highly recommend it. I don't think most people need to spend double or triple on a 4k TV when this does a great job for a bargain price (if you do serious gaming, you will want a better refresh rate though). If you want to improve the sound, just hook up the sound bar although with some tweaks, the sound is adequate without one.

Got the Tv on sale and am quite happy with it. Great product.
